They better pick up some talent to help Cam or its going to be a long season next year. They needed to pick one up after Cams rookie year so they would already have some chemistry together. Luke was a great pick so not sure picking one in the first was the way to go and I don't know who was available later but Damn. I won't blame Cam one bit if, when the time comes and this team hasn't picked up any new offensive weapons, he splits town and never looks back.

And those two players combined for 1000 yards. Not exactly something to boast about considering they both had similar success with past QBs. Cam has done good with what he has.. but I'm just saying a real QB doesn't need to be surrounded by all-stars to be good. That's what you call a game manager, not a QB.

How are you gonna feel bad for the dude? A real QB makes do with what he has and creates good WRs. Tom Brady and Peyton Manning make star receivers out of former scrubs. Not saying Cam is a bad QB in anyway... he is great. Just no need to look for excuses.

 

everyone of Tom Bradys and Peyton Manning wide receiver are better than Lafell.

 

also Tom Brady is having one of his worst season number wise due to lack of weapons. While peyton has had the greatest QB season because he has a loaded arsenal.

 

Your point makes no sense. Cam has the ability to make receivers better. He brought Smitty career back to when he got drafted here in 2011. he also has gave Ted Ginn his best year as a wr.

 

stop being blind like the media. almost every other young qb has atleast one young stud as a weapon. percy harvin, micheal crabtree, ty Hilton, aj green etc

That's why you draft top talent O-line  not  4th & 5th round and expect top talent production.

 

14pts where left off the board because of horrible O-line play. When you have Cam & Tolbert at goal line that should be a automatic TD. If we had 49rs O-line I guarantee you that would be 2 TD.

Sometimes you need to call plays that hide your lack of talent. Sean did it on defense all year. 49ers have a great front 7 but Cam has connected deep on a few throws in the game already and Shula opens the second half up with back to back runs.

You don't have to abandoned the run but when Cam goes 8/10 in the first half with a td he's clearly on a roll let him ball.

i would have loved to see that 4th and 1 play come from shot gun where he would have a running start and leaped over the pile, i had a bad feeling once i saw him under center and still knew it was a sneak.

 

you are right, he called a beautiful first half, got real vanilla second half it seemed, but 9ers were dropping 7 and 8 a lot in first half and starting bringing 5 in the second.
