Wasn't smitty considering retirement before Cam came onto the roster?

Here are Smitty's numbers with clausen,

 2009 - 982 yards

 2010 - 554 yards

Here are Smitty's numbers with Cam

2011 - 1394

2012 - 1174

Here are Lafell's number with Clausen

2010 - 458

Here are Lafell's numbers with Cam

2011 - 613

2012 - 677

Here are Olsen's numbers with Cam

2011 - 540

2012 - 842

*Fun Fact both Lafell and Olsen have had their highest career yards with Cam*

I don't think I even need to list Ginn as he has had his career pretty much resurrected with Cam and has his highest receiving yards here.

This stupid notion that cam doesn't make his receivers better is pure bullshlt. If you are too lazy to actually look at the stats when making the claims that Cam doesn't make his receivers better then don't make such a ridiculous claim. Right now you look stupid.

Are you seriously comparing Clausen to Cam?

No,i've been around longer than u and i don't know if cam broke your heart or something but the last few posts i've seen from you contradict your name. When came was going through his struggles you were one of the mains ones harping on him and admitting what a mistake we made.

You might be thinking of the greatestofalltimecam guy. I think cam didn't sign his t-shirt or some poo and got butthurt about it and started trolling whenever cam had a bad day.

Idts but you're just supporting that he was already a good player before he came. And he didn't even fit their scheme. That's why they traded

Not really when he's had his best season of his career with Cam throwing him the rock, just illustrating that he may have already been a good player but Cam still elevated him

We have some pretty pathetic fans. This is a TEAM game. I'm pulling for Cam just as much as anyone but stop giving the damn guy excuses for everything. He made plenty of careless mistakes yesterday. I swear some people on here would support him for murder.

You say people are giving him excuses? I am calling out baseless accusations that you are leveling against him. I am pointing it out factually and all you can say is that we are defending him too much? You already lost.

    • i think i go in the opposite direction of most. my ideal retirement is living in some old downtown area in a flat above some shop or something.  life out in the country was just something i got real tired of. My kids actually miss some of living out there, which i understand. that was where they grew up for the most part. 40 acres with a 2.5 acre pond. it was beautiful, but also way too much (and too expensive) for me to keep up with.
    • FLASHBACK: I remember back when ESPN was just starting--he was their anchor.  They used to show stuff like Rodeo and field hockey--I remember laughing when he went to a commercial mocking a cycling competition in Utah (or something similar--I made that up) and I laughed.  I told my dad, "We may have us a new anchor when we get back from commercial."  When they came back from commercial, Berman was looking very serious and he said, "Any comments by me do not reflect the views of ESPN....The men and women who cycle are dedicated athletes and we are honored to shine light on their sport." (Paraphrasing).  Dad laughed hysterically. My first memory of him--and that was like 1980.
    • Might not have a team without them. Although that probably applies to the Panthers, too.
