Sean Leahy, of USA Today, reports former NFL QB Jeff George said he would like to make a return to the National Football League. "I feel like I can still play, and if there's someone out there to give me a shot, that would be wonderful," George said to IlliniHQ.com. "You look throughout the league, you see 20 teams that need quarterbacks – 20 teams need starters – and probably everybody needs a backup. In my opinion, there's just not a lot of quality quarterbacks out there these days."

I'd have to disagree with you. There are probably 20 teams out there that have less of an arm and judgment than George has, but few that have a bigger ego. I wouldn't mind seeing George back in the league, but in a backup role as he seems resigned to at this point...

Just pull up the video from when we played George and the Falcons. You can see how easily rattled he got. We had his number.
