Should we tag Hardy and then try to trade him?

The tag is estimated at $12,475,000

It works like a one year deal, so the same number against the cap.

With the new rookie salary structure, picks are more valuable when they used to be.

My opinion is that he will be hard to move. To play for a contender on a $12,5 deal is not bad, so it is unlikely Hardy will demand a trade unless someone wants to give him a Williams/peppers kind of deal. That is unlikely as is and considering they also need to be ready to part with their 1st in the trade it becomes very unlikely.

The best chance is a team with a huge cap, a 1st in the fifteenth pick area, and a GM coach combo that have one more year to prove themselves and think Hardy is the missing piece.
