Munnerlyn Wants long term deal

Munnerlyn is good for our system bc he's a great tackler. But he's not a rare corner. I want him back for his desire to win more than his skill...but I would like him back.

Those of you saying that x player and y player can come back if they play for vet minimum need to stop and think. Vet minimum is for guys like Jordan Senn or Geoff Hangartner. People like Wharton and Captain deserve and will get more than vet minimum either here or somewhere else. They contributed to our NFC South title and played pretty well all season.

Pay him like a good slot defender and sign him longterm. It wont cost a ton. I like his fire and effort. He isn't a shutdown corner even though we made him be one. We need good man corners if we keep playing the same system.

sure but he has to play the nickel... i dont see how they can consider him the long term answer outside ... not with how big and fast the WR are these days

He can walk if he wants too much. Our secondary is pathetic. We can replace all of them fairly easily. Bigger fish to fry.
