We Never Had a Shot

Flame away, but I am 100% convinced that this game was, for lack of a better word, fixed from the start. There is no way that a game can accidentally be called that far in favor of one team. The timing of the calls (the officials scored every point for the Niners in the 1st half), the blatant no-calls no matter what the Niners did, and the enforcement of the Niners penalties, which basically made it so there penalties didn't even matter, were outright atrocious. Even the articles across a variety of different publications, whose headlines often state that the matchup "every NFL fan wanted to see" is now in store has me convinced that this game was never in doubt for the queers from the Bay. It would take a Niner homer so far out there not to call it like it is: we never truly had a chance to win this game.

We need another thread on this? We had multiple shots at the goal line and couldn't get a push.

While it makes sense, these mistakes only lost us 4 points. The first time we were stopped, we held them to a 3 and out, got the ball deep on their side of the field and scored. The second time we kicked a FG. We completely outplayed them in every facet in the first half and trailed at halftime. At that point, I knew it would take a miracle to win.

everyone wants to ignore the fact that getting stop on 4th down set up the scoring drive the next possession and pass blame around

On that one pass interference call in the endzone...I saw the ref begin to signal incomplete pass, stop, and then reach down and pull the flag out.

Bull.Spit.

See I was sitting in that end zone on the side with that play. The game moves so fast in real time and I felt like the contact came after the ball had passed the receiver. Seeing it in slow mo on ESPN it looked like a totally different play.
