Bowman is actually a candidate for DPOY this season.

Either way, it was a dumb comment to make. Kuechly is a very good young player, he would never be a bench player. As is, the 49ers have 4 pro-bowl linebackers. My best bet is that they would move Aldon Smith to defensive end and either Willis, Bowman, or Kuechly would have to play on the outside. 

It was a stupid comment to make because it is simply not true, and because its not realistic. The 49ers have no need for Kuechly, but if they happened to get him in a fantasy scenario like this, they would most definitely make room for him to start.
