What do we do this offseason?

What would you do this offseason if you had control?
I for one would sign Aqib Talib and Hakeem Nicks
Draft: Kelvin Benjamin (R1), Loucheiz Purifoy (R2), and either Carlos Hyde or best value T or WR in R3

I would also franchise tag Greg Hardy so I can worry about Cams contract next season before worrying about hardy.

 

If not let Kraken walk and sign Michael Johnson from Cincinatti and save some $

It sounds good but no way that works under our salary cap. I think we can work out a contract for Hakeem Nicks since he stunk it up this year. He is an upgrade over Lafell

I think we can bring in a few bargain cornerbacks that will be an upgrade over what we have. We definitely need to keep Captain. He is a great tackler and great nickel. He shouldn't be left out on an island. He stinks covering speed guys running go routes.

I don't see us keeping Hardy unfortunately he is just going to cost to much. I think we can get a defensive end for a better price that gives us 80% of what Greg did.

Yeah i was considering putting we ought to try and sign Michael Johnson from the bengals and let hardy walk… but i didn't want to deal with the backlash i probably would receive

1.  Can't work under the Salary Cap

2.  Completely ignores our OL issues...which is the BIGGEST issue we have on offense

I feel we will spend some money on upgrading the Oline and WR position. Then sign some mid tier guys on defense. Whatever is left will be addressed in the draft.

Honestly I believe that if our receivers demanded more attention from the opposing defense our o line wouldn't look so bad.
