#1 Reason to get rid of Lafell

Imagining what Cam can do with a real #1 threat WR makes me happy that our time will come.

He didn't drop that interception. The ball was thrown high and behind him. You really don't want your receiver to make ESPNs top 10 on a 5 yard pass do you? Cam has got to be more consistent. Sign Lafell to a short contract and light a fire under his ass.

Writing has been all the wall for this guy. I have been saying this. He is really not worth giving a penny. U can easily replace what he does.

All he offers is down field blocking.  It's a valuable trait in a WR when it's combined with actual receiving skills....which he lacks.  I believe a free agent can be had very cheap that can give the Panthers more than LaFell.  Let someone else pay him.

He's a GREAT downfield blocker, but we need a LOT more than that out of the 2.

I don't know but it almost looked like that pass was intended for Olsen who, for some crappy play design reason, was running right behind Lafell.  We had 3 guys all in the same spot of the field on that play, each with their own defender so who knows what the fug happened there.

I don't think that means he "dropped" all those.  A lot of them were probably bad throws, etc.  I bet he really only had about 7 or 8 true drops.

its really not that hard to believe 2 drops a game would be 32 in a season. i watched every game this season and i always remember lafell with a drop or 2 in each one

No seriously, I think 38 drops would be a record.

 

According to this site, lafell had 6 drops.
