Poor Hixon

Well the one time he was given a chance, he won the game for us so for chiming in but insulting me isn't going to change my mind.  It's funny how everyone can state their opinion then bash someone else for having their's.  I thought Panthers fans had class, I've to plenty of games and the fans are friendly and nice but here fans don't have the same interaction as in person.  I am not saying you are classless, I am just saying as a Panthers fans have class.  I have subjected myself to meaningless debates but that is over so thanks for your opinion of the team but your opinion of me is pointless.

Domenik Hixon was oft-injured this year. He wasn't given a chance because he wasn't healthy enough to compete for one. And when he finally did get healthy there were guys in front of him who had learned the system and were doing just enough to keep their jobs. When he finally got his opportunity he never did anything spectacular enough to warrant taking one of their spots. And you don't throw a guy with 5 catches all year long into the mix during the divisional round of the playoffs because he's the GM's "guy." Why I'm even responding to you, therefore legitimizing your horrible reasoning, is beyond me. I hate myself for doing that.

No I don't want you to agree with me, I just don't feel like you insulting me and trying to impose your will is going to change my opinion.  By you saying something you don't feel isn't keeping it real.  stay true but keep it clean.

Thanks

Ok, yes.... McNutt and Hixon would have been the difference in the game... Are you happy now? I am agreeing with your opinion now... I didn't realize users weren't suppose to disagree with you.

All opinions were not made equally. Just because you have one doesn't mean it's a good one or that it's one worth sharing. If it's even remotely insightful or well-constructed I'd give you some respect. The position you're advocating is the equivalent of a 60-yard hail mary to end the game. Catching lightning in a bottle. Throwing up a prayer. You're suggesting that 2 players who've not made an impact all season long save for 1 play would've made a difference in this game against one of the league's best defenses. So, yeah, I'm not impressed with your opinion.

The divisional round of the playoffs is not the time for experiments. That's what preseason is for.

I haven't insulted you. I asked a question I felt was legitimate to try to understand where you were getting your thought process from. That was all. Although, it seems you feel that everyone on this thread who disagrees with you is somehow insulting you. If you aren't open minded to hearing our feedback then I would suggest not making a thread here.

When you ask is someone high or drunk, you are stating that my mind is altered and that's an insult no mater how you put it. But thanks.

I am not a status quo type of person and neither was Harbaugh, he parted ways with his started for a one read wonder.  Just because the masses think one thing doesn't make it right.  There are more poor people in this world than there are afluent persons but is being poor the best way to live?  For those that are poor it is but to those that made it out of the rat race, that wasn't a choice.  So again thanks for your opinion.

Hahaha... As I said, it was a legitimate question to try to understand your thought process. It has been made clear, that I was not alone in wondering that question..

At the end of the game, Hixon was sitting on the bench by himself, and I was looking for his presence on the field the whole game.  I wanted to see Hixon since he does have playoff and superbowl experience.  He would have been our secret weapon and Shula a la Ron dropped the ball again.  Plus McNutt would have been the secret sauce.  I was not a believer before this game in our weapons and the reason is because of Shula.  He came out in the first quarter blazing saddles then he cooled the spurs.

D.G. has his work cut out for him this offseason plus the decision to keep Riverboat.  Ron I like his gamble but everyone knew it was a qb sneak.  I wish Hixon would have been on the field more than Lafell.  Imo Smith, Hixon and Ginn would have been the difference in us winning the game and keeping the chains moving  to losing.  Did Hixon get any runs?

You do realize Smith was having knee issues 2nd half right?  so in reality, Ginn,LaFell, Hizon would have been better, thats 3 fully healthy WR's to catch the ball plus a TE...  not 2 1/2 WR's...
