Ok that's fair to say but he is the hc so that is his job. We need someone else that can take the team to the next level by at least trying to use all of the pieces given to him.

Are you high to even ask what the next level is?  The next level is getting to the superbowl.  Hell Harbaugh was hc for 3 years and his team couldn't get to the playoffs before then.  He has been to the NFC championship 3 years in a row.  That's the next level.

If you want to be a fan of a team who fires their Head Coach every time they don't make it to the "Next Level", you might want to start rooting for the Cleveland Browns. They are always looking for new fans!

I've been with the Panters through high's and low's and I always believed in Fox.  You can't be mad because I don't feel like R.R. is the one.  How can you get upset because I have an opinion?  Really, what makes your opinion better than mines?

Sooooo, the guy who has 5 catches all year (and yes, I concede one was a key TD) and the guy who hasn't played a snap all year were going to be our secret weapons? And Gettleman is supposed to be upset that Rivera didn't use these guys?

I just think it's funny that you think you have an opinion and no one else has an opinion.  That's very comical, however, just like Lafell didn't get a fair chance the 1st year R.R. was here, I don't think Hixon received a fair chance.  The look on Hixon's face just proved the point he came to play and wasn't given a chance.

Dont pay attention them at this moment. After season 2 most on here said fire Rivera. After 1-3 some even said bench Cam. You have the right to feel the way you do about Rivera and it should be disagreed with(which I disagree with), but respected cause last I checked I dont see no SB victories around here. No NFC Champions either. I think he has 1 more year on his contract and it would be foolish to extend him now instead of seeing what happens after next season, then make a decsion. That's 4 years

 

Far as your original thread topic, I dont know where Hixon was at. I know my faith in Lafell is and was completely lost and I question our coaches faith in him as well and playing him and targeting him at this point surely was better than targeting Lafell. We stuck to our guns and it burned us as most expected would probably happen, is what it is now. Have to fix that for next season

Domenik Hixon was oft-injured this year. He wasn't given a chance because he wasn't healthy enough to compete for one. And when he finally did get healthy there were guys in front of him who had learned the system and were doing just enough to keep their jobs. When he finally got his opportunity he never did anything spectacular enough to warrant taking one of their spots. And you don't throw a guy with 5 catches all year long into the mix during the divisional round of the playoffs because he's the GM's "guy." Why I'm even responding to you, therefore legitimizing your horrible reasoning, is beyond me. I hate myself for doing that.
