Everyone stop crying about the refs

One of the main reasons SF had such consistent pressure in the second half was the refs let them go offsides just about every play. It really was unbelievable.

 

 

One of the reasons the 49ers (and pretty much every other teams) KNOWS they can get a jump on the snap is because our OC won't get a damn play called and get the snap off at varying times.

 

We ALWAYS fuging snap the ball with 1 or 2 seconds left on the clock.

 

And Shula and Rivera still can't figure out THAT OTHER TEAMS KNOW THAT TOO.

Us not punching it in on TWO different drives, our WRs not being able to get open, and Cam holding on to the ball too long is why we lost. Refs are refs. They blew calls on both sides. There is no conspiracy. We simply got whooped.

Agree. I hate when fans go on and on about the refs. Did they get more calls, yes. A great team overcomes that, we're not great, yet. Just makes you look like a sore loser.

The first half was atrocious on the refs part but we did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING in the second half to warrant that it meant anything.

You want to harp on the refs for losing you the game? If it's late in the second hlaf that decides the game I'll buy that. You did nothing in the second half on top of getting a gift call late in the 4th on a bogus roughing the passer call. You still did nothing. So go ahead and make excuses on a three point deficit at the half and ended up losing by 13 by solid play by the Niners. I got over the calls in the 2nd half because I thought the 49ers were a better team. The difference in this game was the 49ers Defense outplayed Carolina's Defense when it mattered most (i.e turnovers, sacks, 3rd down and 4th down conversions). Our defense was not able to get the 49ers offense off the field on 3rd down.

You are giving the "officials" a pass they don't deserve. 49ers stayed on the field because of those horrible calls on third down to extend their drives. The 49ers came out and could not move the ball on us. It was penalties that kept them on the field especially the first two fieldgoals. By that time the players knew it. Jerry has been missing payments apparently

At the end of the first half I'd have told you to go fug yourself. That was disgustingly lopsided to the point that the announcers were pointing poo out. The refs flat out kept the 49ers in the game.

 

We poo the bed in the second half and got blown the fug up. No excuses there.

 

Agreed. The first half was nauseating. The second half was failure on the part of everyone.

Yeah the 49ers got 90% of the close calls but the Panthers just flat out did not play well enough to win. A perfectly officiated game and we still lose. Panthers had plenty of opportunities to make plays and they just didn't make it happen. 49ers deserved the W today, I'm not going to whine about a couple calls, that crap is embarrassing.

In any event this year was a great step for the organization. Rivera did a complete 180 as a HC. Gettleman infused the D with a ton of talent and built the #2 defense in just one offseason. I'm looking forward to seeing him revamp the offense in a similar fashion this offseason. Go Panthers

The problem with your theory is that we played very well until the refs neutered our defenses. It deflated the team.

No offside calls despite blatant and repeated infractions by Aldon Cirrhosis Smith.

Headbutt call on our players. No calls on yours.

No holds all game offensively.

No holding call on Willis despite him raping Olsen all the way down the field on the first INT.

Then call a bogus defensive holding on us the subsequent drive.

And again, they ignored a blatant 12 men in the huddle violation AND the headbutt by Boldin, which ended up allowing you to score a TD before the half.

You were spotted, at a minimum, 13 points.

Final score? 23-10. 13 point differential, thanks to your traveling band of refs.

We have no fuging clue how the game turns out if not for the bad officiating because we likely only allow 3 fuging points in the first half and who knows what our offense does with the extra plays they'd get.

 

We lost because we played shitty, but the refs fuged us as hard as the 9ers.
