Not just a new OC, but a new system is needed.

Cam bailed out Shula?

it's not a tough concept to capture....even for you

Irrational 'fan' will be irrational. Keep longing for the days where we scored 30 points a game but lost 10 games. You don't really care if we win, you just want flashy stats.

Again. TOP and scoring at a high clip, and limiting possessions = better defensive statistics.

If we played faster or more aggressively the other team would also have more possessions and scoring opportunities and yardage opportunities. Not to mention the defense getting gassed.

The two go hand and hand.

It is not a coincidence that the defense also had the 4th best starting field position all season as well

Drafting the best MLB, Davis returning, and solidifying the interior of the Dline = better defensive statistics.

The 2 go hand in hand.

If you believe that keeping the identical approach to the offense will likely lead us to success, then you're out of touch with reality. No team in the history of the NFL has ever won the big one (let alone multiple playoff games) with an offense that ranks below the 22nd spot.

I worry more about what we do when we have the ball than total yards or total points.

Efficiency is more important than total yards.

That is not to say we can't improve on offense. But we won 12 games. We were the number 2 seed. We were mostly effecient on offense.

Some of you guys are more worried about yardage and points than the fact that we were very successful this season.

Today we had tons of chances and either turned it over or got stood up on the goal line.

We get TDs instead of 3 points TOTAL on 2 goal line stands the game probably looks a lot different.

LOL

Yea Dan Henning really killed it in Miami and continues to do so today right

That's why Shula was a QB coach because he sucked as a OC and HC....and he continues to do so.

I'd take half of a Dan Henning over Shula though.

This reminds me of the people who cheered Henning's demise. Henning was a great OC, but was a scapegoat by the fans (and Fox).

Be careful what you wish for

And then they whined when we had Jeff Davidson, and then whined when we got Chud, and now they whine about Shula and want Chud back. Its ludicrous.

Dan Henning had more winning seasons than Chud.

Once D gets the 2nd level he breaks tackles just like anyone else.  Name a few rb's that can get hit as soon as they get the ball and make spectalur plays after play.

Need a tougher runner than deangelo he dosent run tough enough to get 5 or 6 unless there is a gaping hole, which wont happen every play.

Cool story bro

What's wrong, scared of the facts? You should go become a Lions fan, they are more your style - score 30 ppg but lose most of their games.

As a sidenote, Henning's worst season was 7-9. Chud's BEST season was 7-9.
