Our offensive scheme is really no different than seattle. Beast mode just doesn't have to worry about a stacked box.  Tough to blitz with mobile QB with arsenal of wr's.  Plus as good as our D is we Must get one at least above average Corner

About the offense... Blow it up. Blow it all up.

We need a new OC to come in and design a new system around Cam. Something with a faster pace and an identity.

From there, draft and sign players who compliment it. Please don't try to put bandages over what we currently have. It won't work. Shula is not capable of making in game adjustments, as I stated around this time last year.

And don't give me that "Cam can't learn a new system" crap. Cam is a bright guy, with a legit offensive staff he will be more than fine, he will have an identity. Loads of offenses flourish in their first year.

Our offense out side of a very few players(Cam, Olsen and Kalil) in under talented enough that a good old fashion blow the whole damn thing up would not be a bad thing. IMO

Screw that.  I am content to line up in formations where the casual viewer at home, much less the professional NFL defensive coach, knows what is going to happen before the ball is even snapped.  I like predictable runs for 2 yards, formations where the exact same plays happen over and over and long slow developing patterns even though most of us realize our O line can't keep Cam upright indefinitely.  Screens have been very effective so I don't want us to run more than one per half EVER and we must line up in a power running formation when we want to sneak the ball with our franchise QB.  Spreading out the defense in that situation, before sneaking it, would NEVER make any sense whatsoever.  We should telegraph every fuggin thing we do because we are so fuggin awesome that it doesn't really matter if every single mother fugger watching knows exactly whats about to happen.

We moved the ball almost all day. We just didn't capitalize with picks and two goal line stands.

Some of you will never give Shula his due because you already had your mind made up before we even got out of preseason.

12-4 and top 10 in efficiency on offense.

I think his gameplan is good but playcalling becomes predictable with Shula. Norv would be a great guy to have if he gets booted out of CLE.

to me the offensive identity is to KEEP POUNDING

 

its to be a run 1st team but we lack the push on the right side of the line to do so consistently and effectively.

 

after we establish the run we want to put the ball in Cams hand with play action and make them pay down field or taking what the defense gives us with positive completions(dink/dunk). unfortunately we dont have the talent in or WR corps to do so.

 

i just feel the Identity is good. we just need better talent to execute is better and consistently
