Not just a new OC, but a new system is needed.

unless i heard incorrectly, i just heard Cam say HE made that qb sneak call.

i still say roll out at the goal line. it just gives you so many choices, disrupts the d and makes them work.

the Niners did that on their td just before the half. sheesh

I'm sure Cam did call his number but I disagree with just a sneak on fourth down..let him run to the line and jump over reaching the ball across the goaline..when has cam ever tried that and been denied?

but the rollout is what should have happened before the fourth down

The only play calls I had a problem with were the goal line calls. At the end of the day we need bigger, stronger OL. If Gettledog sticks to his gameplan then I expect the other line to be handled in the offseason. I fully expect hog mollies on the offensive side to be our priority in the draft.

OL and WR should be the focus this offseason.

I'm still on the fence about Shula. He's not as poor as many of you make him out to be, but the pace of play does bother me, as do some of the red zone calls.

We need talent on O. Go up and down San Fran's offensive roster and compare it to ours. The fact that we won 12 games with a sub-standard group of offensive players is a miracle, and you can't acknowledge that without giving the coaching staff credit too.

Never, for even one moment, have I wished Chud was still here. Bring him back? No fuging way.

What bothers me more is that he took a big play team and turned it into a small ball one. We never created mismatches because of this.

Shula continues to get blame for player responsibility, when in truth the play-calling is find.........better execution would go along way.........but let's be lazy and blame it on the OC

Cpt you really think Shula can lead us to the SB don't you? With weapons?

If you have a team full of perfect players who execute everything, we could just hire a 10 year old to be OC. The point is you have to call plays your team can execute and Shula is incapable.

yeah, with the right pieces we could go to the Superbowl...........our offense is efficient.

Getting rid of guys like bell and lafell will boost things on offense, guys complain about shula's play-calling but 3 simple mistakes killed drives. You can't blame that on the OC, it's been the same suspects all year causing the offense to flame out, not shula

no one has to play perfect, but they do have to play smart.

my only real beef with shula is clock management or urgency when there needs to be some.

Lafell has killed so many drives this season along with bell..........along with d will's fumbles, look at it from both ways, shula offense allows our d to stay fresh, is more efficient with less TO......i don't remember cam being strip sack this season at all, has the best season of his career in completion.

Our oline couldn't get any push today its hard to scheme for that, this same guy we want fired is the same guy who has call plays for our game-winning drives this season

I still believe you give Cam a line, this system will work. They can't get a push and they can't hold protection for more than like 2 seconds. You saw today when given time what Cam can do with the ball. He hasn't had time all season and still managed to put up the numbers he did (besides the passes over 20 yards, which the media will feast on in this offseason). Ditch the right hand of the line and start over.
