What a magical season this has been!!!

What a way to show that you have arrived this season!

To accomplish all that was accomplished this season, after some 'experts' picked this team to finish last in the NFC, is simply amazing...

This core is young...  Newton, Kuechly, Lotulelei...  A defense that will out-physical most teams...  An offense that should inject some needed youth and talent this offseason...  A front office and coaching staff that now seems to understand what it needs to do to win...

I'm proud of this team...  I'm proud of this organization...

But what I'm happiest to be able to say right now...  For the first time in years, I'm excited to be a Panther fan!!

Job well done, Panthers!!

GTFO this team didn't accomplish poo.

How didn't we accomplish anything? We won our division. We went from 7-9 to 12-4. Went on longest winning streak in franchise history. The first quarter had some bad calls that set us back but we overcame them. The Dline was just nonexistent which can't happen with our secondary. And Shula was way too conservative. But overall this team accomplished a lot and put us on the map. WE MADE IT TO THE FINAL 8. Keep pounding

We surpassed many expectations this season & I am grateful to have enjoyed this kind of season in a loooooong while. Though I must admit that I was pouting like a kid over the lost. Until I saw my five year old staring at me then I had to straighten up quick. It would've been a lil better if squidward would've gotten smacked around more. Oh well, the future looks bright Huddlers. KEEP POUNDING!

    • well, the beginning of the season he wasn't moving the ball at all anywhere on the field. he's getting that straight. hoping he can get the other straight as well. i do know that red zone issues weren't just him, though. we were doing a lot of things wrong.
    • I don't think it's necessary to succeed, but it's clear Bryce doesn't have the arm strength to really fit the ball into tight windows with arm alone 15-20 yards down field regularly. He can throw really well at that distance with anticipation, but he just lacks the same arm strength as some other notable high draft picks. However, the question becomes - can he make up for that in other ways? He might be able to, because he played a very good KC D ( tho passing wise it is more middle of the pack - still a good D).
    • I think they have been ok too, especially when you factor in our anemic pass rush this season. I realize great safetys(sp?) don't grow on trees. But, it sure would be great if we could find a ball-hawking  safety to play on the back end. We need the type of player who must be accounted for on every down; the type of guy who make  every level of the defense just by being on the field. I feel like Carolina has undervalued the safety position for years. We haven't drafted a safety prior to round 3 since we got Mike Minter in the 2nd round way back in 1997.  Take a look at the SB winners since 2000. I 'd say most of the teams have above average to great guys playing at the safety position.
