Byron Bell, Brandon LaFell and Melvin White lost us this game

Our offense simply doesn't have the talent to come back against premier defense. Refs knew it and cheated us out of the game.

This. There's too many teams, including college, that were had two opponents the past few weeks. Us and Florida State to name a few. My buddy said it best, the league couldn't make it more obvious who they want to win. Hell why even play the game, they might as well just have a top 25 system.

I'm not going to play the blame game.  It isn't any group individuals fault.  We score TDs on those goal line stands, don't throw interceptions, keep them out of the endzone at the end of the half, or don't drop a pick 6, etc.

I could literally probably choose every single player on the team and cherry pick a moment that could have changed the game.

You all deserve a medal for all knowing football gods. We didn't play man to man ever. Lester needs a medal for blown coverage on Boldins long reception. Kap deserves credit for figuring out how to get the ball to his guy and where. When you play zone there are holes. There are no particular players being manned up on anyone.

If a man comes into your zone, get the ball or separate the man from the ball. Dumb fugs you are.

Please, Bell is doing fine today, that's DL expect to beat our OL. He didn't give up 5 sacks for us, which is good enough for him.

Lafell, Cam pass behind him, what's more, it should be a holding against 9ers on Olsen.

White, yeah, he is terrible.

LaFell, tipped ball leading to a pick and key drops, despite good run blocking.

Bell, poor run blocking at 3rd and 4th and short and giving up sacks in the 3rd quarter.

White, poor coverage on Boldin. UDFA from Lousiana LaFayette should not be covering a Super Bowl winning WR. Norman or Thomas would have done better.

Honorable mention goes to Captain, but only because we used him incorrectly as a #1 or #2 corner, when, because of his height, he should only play the nickel.

Those are my thoughts on that game and this team moving forward. I think these are the weakest links on our team, and they need to be addressed. Now, I'm going to do my best to forget this game while still remembering what a good season this has been.

I am glad that you wanted to share these negative, incorrect, and irrational ideas with everyone.

Negative? Maybe. But hey, we just lost a divisional round playoff game so there's going to be some criticism going around.

As far as incorrect or irrational, they were just my offhand observations after the game. I didn't look up the box score to see Lafell's targets to drops, Bell's hits, knockdowns, and sacks allowed, or White's missed tackles or receptions allowed. I think it's fair to say that those three were the weakest players on our team yesterday.
