OL, WR, CB

CB is #1 for me.  In today's pass happy NFL you need these guys.  The way guys like Colston and Boldin were wide open all the time against us is aggravating.  Hell, Roddy White was open all the time too, he just cannot catch.

WR is next.  I am sure this is first for most people and I can understand it.  New England is in the CCG without elite WR and they do not have close to our defense so it can be done.  I would love a great guy but would be fine with bringing in two or three good guys if we upgrade the secondary first.

OL is third.  Bell just sucks, we all know this.  It would be great to bring in a LT and move Gross to RT.  If Gross is not brought back however this need rises but for now I feel it is secondary to the other two.

OC: I would love another, but it is not going to happen this year.  Another playoff failure or two and it will, but not this time around.

Agree totally with OP.

I think with Amini and Kugzilla coming back to go with the G's we have pieced together, we can take one late, but OT is a must.

In each of the first three rounds, take the best available at OT, CB and WR.

Our biggest issue is having RB's making millions and we cannot do a thing about it.  Need that money for FA's, but.......

Chud got fired with Norv.  I am not sure Norv is the guy.  He will try to influence Riverboat too much.  I think Norv would bust, after hearing reports, I don't think Chud would be an option as well.  If R.R. keeps shula, then it will be his make or break year.  If he fails out with the old because I believe D.G. will bring in a serious boss.  If R.R. succeeds then he is better than Riverboat name given.

We need Norv, if Rivera doesn't get rid of Shula that reflects badly on Rivera

Its time to address WR and CB most in the offseason.

The OL is 3rd to WR and CB.   If having to choose between paying Hardy or paying a WR free agent--We should pay for a WR (or two).   If we dont pay for a WR we will not improve next year.   For the 1st round we should go BPA for WR, CB, or TE.  I dont want another OL until at least round 3.   I would love for us to sign some WR talent and its out there.  There is some talent to be had:  Eric Decker, Emanuel Sanders, Jerricho Cothchery, and Jeremy Maclin.

Like the Tillman pickup,  but no where near sold on grabbing a OL before the 3rd heck to be honest wouldn't bother me at all to  Not ****** one rounds 1-4.  Bell has been bad but has looked serviceable at time the second half he was terrible but overshadowed by all those penalties they were Praising the OL on TV and they have several times this season.  Now they stack the box and Blitz because 0 threat passing he struggled.  Heck we could grab Jake Matthews and it wouldnt have helped today.  Our OL gave Cam more time than Kaep was getting (announcers were beating that drum pretty hard)  could't tell though.  All-Pro OL across the board they still stack the Box and Blitz= QB still gets hit.  We've played this same freaking song before.  We drafted RT and OL was Stacked with healthy Otah on Right side, weHad the Best RB duo in the NFL but playoff time came.  Just Stacked the Box blitz the poo out of us Jake instead of being sacked just kept throwing them off getting intercepted.  Load up the WR core Bell doesn't look so bad, not good, but not horrible.  Our OL is actually better than the superbowl team.  They just had Young Smitty, Moose, and Proehl.  We have aging smitty.  They could stack the box and hard to blitz then opposite now and every other year including 05 and 08

Gotta go WR (x2 if no Good FA) DB rounds 1-4

If Gilbert or Dernard fall Grab him with Tillman opposite side Captain in the slot, our Defense is solid across the board.

WR if those 2 dont fall WR round 2

DB rounds 3-4

Hardy is a Must, we dont resign him we just took a Big step back.  Our Front 7 has carried this team, Gettleman builds it around that NYG tough DL mode with the defensive coach.

WR is no1 PRIORITY!!!!!!

FA:
Golden Tate, WR
Charles Tillman, CB

DRAFT:

(1) Jordan Matthews / Kelvin Benjamin, WR

(2) James Hurst / Morgan Moses / JuWuan James, OT

(3) OT / CB

(4) Jaylen Watkins / Stanley Jean-Baptiste / Rashaad Reynolds, CB

We need a down field attack though

However receiving options are a must

We may have to bite the bullet and go out and really pay for a WR. we have go to give Cam weapons and a real offensive line. the panthers have always fallen in love with hard workers and kept them around long after they have lost there freshness. Lafell may have to walk

The biggest thing we can add next season is a run game from the running back position. We have one of the most expensive RB rotation in the league and we can't run. Most runs have been 2-3 yards. Get a road grader like Jeff Otah (before injury) and hopefully we can get closer to 3-5 yds

I can see that if we are able to retain Gross and Wharton. If not, OL is a must. The most underrated OL on this team is Wharton. We must try to bring him back too. Wharton at LG and move Amini to RG.

Bell is Bell. You already know exactly what you're gonna get out of him every Sunday. The dude is up and down. I've been lenient on Bell since last year, but it's really time for an upgrade.

I'd be disappointed going into next season with: LT? - Amini - Kalil - Chandler/Scott - Bell.

I really prefer this: Gross - Wharton - Kalil - Amini - Hurst/Moses/James(draft).

However, I would love to grab a CB (Dennard/Gilbert) in the late first if that's even possible!

I'll stomach another year of Shula IF our lack of offensive talent is addressed. Shula is a major component of the offenses inability to generate any kind of rhythm.

Our opening possession should be evident of that.

9 fuging minutes and no points. My fuging God, man.

Yes now if we Gross that changes things but it looks very possible he will be back next season.

There are loads of Cohwer Steeler nut huggers.  Well those Super Bowls they One.  They Built a Nasty D- We are Close DB's just holding us back, They had a Big Strong Arm Mobile QB- so do we, They had a a Terrible OL and QB hit more than any QB not named David Carr- Cam got hit buuut not that much they actually have been praised at times (until teams finally just load up and bring the house),  They went out and got the young QB weapons- We've have done the exact opposite.  Lock up Hardy  and bring Back Gross then stock Cam some Weapon and the D some DB's and we will be fine.

Again this OL is actually better than the Super Bowl team, they just dont have the constant pressure we have thanks to Young Smitty, Moose, and Proehl

We can build like our super bowl team and the steeler teams etc, or we can just ignore our biggest need and just grab an OT like we did in the past and end up like 08.  One trick Poney only gets you so far.
