Refs in todays Game

Can someone ban that idiot? There was dozens of bad calls, all of which conveniently benefitted the Niners.

As for the first game, do you honestly think that Vernon Davis never had possession of the ball, when he caught it, switched hands, and made four steps?

NFL=WWE.

From what I see, Carolina gets many more calls than Pats/SF so why are people always blaming the refs?

The refs made 1 bad call today and people are already spouting these conspiracy theories?

Come on!

One bad call...maybe that would have been ok...12 men in the huddle at the end of the 2nd qt.......no call on head butt by boldin on that same drive.....personal foul after a tipped ball for hitting a player that had a chance to catch the ball...hands to the face of our QB on a goal line drive when he jumped the whole OL and hit cam on the facemask or helmet...a few easy offsides calls....lots of calls that could go both ways on both but the first 4 easy calls....come on man....no keep pounding for you sir..

I was wondering about that VD TD...first 12 men in the huddle and then when he caught that his foot was down but then bobbled the ball and switched hands and then had that foot land right on the line....killer killer.....we did not play well the second half but I believe when your coaching staff has to tell you to make adjustments due to the horrible calling based on physical play that changes your gameplan and mentality as a player..niners won but the better team did not win today...KEEP POUNDING!!!

That tool is just trying to get his rocks off, poor winner. It was also about a dozen no calls to go along with it.

It also looked like he went out of bounds before even making the catch, which should have been a penalty. Another "no call"

You don't think 12 men in the huddle is an easy call to make?  You don't think if they wouldn't of gone up with that TD at the end that maybe the momentum wouldn't of stayed on the panthers side...almost said our side...but apparently you are no fan of ours..hope you look up and understand...KEEP POUNDING!

i'm just a frustrated as you are about the game, i accounted for 12 men in huddle when i said it should have been 10-6 at the half. they would have kicked a field goal. they also got screwed on the opening drive. SF would have had to punt.

maybe momentum would have been different had they made those calls but the SF offensive line controlled the line of scrimmage the entire game. we didn't have the weapons to come back once we fell behind.  Our corners simply aren't capable of playing man on pro bowl caliber receivers if we don't pressure the QB. SF's play calling was much better as well. Notice how they spread out the field for Kap in short yardage situations. We had a 9 minute drive and put up zero points. We came out flat in the 2nd half, SF didn't, simple as that.

I don't understand how being realistic makes me not a fan. Refs were awful, but blaming them entirely for a 23-10 loss is a bit much in my opinion.  Blindly supporting the team and not watching the game objectively doesn't make you anymore a fan than I am.

I do believe that the Panthers were outplayed today.  Who's to say it wasn't because of momentum killed due to bad calls or not.  Whatever.  They have to get past that.  The one thing I see that hasn't been mentioned is that when Brooks jumped over the line, that was clearly offsides but my question is; isn't that a five yard penalty?  And if so, shouldn't that have been a first down for the Panthers.  A TD there would have been big and three more tries at it might have helped.  No excuses.  You have to get past the bad calls.  If they can have a good off season, they'll be back and ready to curbstomp some bitches next year.  Oh yeah, and I would like nothing more than to have seen someone punch Harbaugh in his fuging mouth after the game.  Hate that mother fuger.  I also hate Pete Carrol so I am torn next week.  Best case scenario; next week 49ers get the poo kicked out of them and then the Broncos beat the dog poo out of the Seahawks.

I have noted that they did play better in the second half.  They have a good OL one of the better OLs in the NFL.  But...but.....when the refs start to call a game that is not suppose to be called....a tough team that is flagged over and over again for nothing.....or a team that is not flagged for headbutting another player...when 12 men in the huddle is not called....when numerous calls are not called and the coaches have to tell the players to settle down because the refs have changed the game then that becomes an issue....not questioning you being a fan.....and I'm not blindly supporting my team.....just seeing the facts.....apparently you either didn't watch the game as closely or maybe you had more beers than I....KEEP POUNDING!

    • And we just started playing competitive football. Now look we beat a decent team. We can celebrate winning, it will be ok…
    • It doesn't matter if you give him a new WR1. To do it you have to devoted MORE resources to him. At some point you have to stop or there's nothing left for the defense. Our defense looks like scrubs because that's what we've got because we've spent a shitload on offense. He got a 1st round WR and a shiny new RB in round 2.  Bryce had a couple of good games but we are not competing against the Chiefs or Eagles. They're headed to the playoffs with realistic SB aspirations and we're headed to a top 10 pick. Those teams have competed for an entire season where the Panthers have ummm... They've almost gotten to as many wins as Matt Rhule in a season.  Would you rather have Bryce or Lamar? Because we've spent more on Bryce and to build around him than what it would have cost to trade for Lamar.  This team can't get better when it's having to devote everything to making it possible for our #1 QB god to play average NFL football.  I may end up being wrong and Bryce may become the GOAT. But one thing you won't see me doing is flip flopping on where I stand every couple of weeks because he has good or bad games. I think Bryce is our version of Daniel Jones and I think we're going to fug ourselves pretending he's Pat Mahomes.
