Yea we abandoned the 3rd best rushing offense in the league when we were only 2 scores back, in the first half, in the cold, in January when you're SUPPOSED TO BE running the ball.

Our secondary was unable to react quickly enough and the defense overall was pretty poor but they were on the field 3/4's of the game due to the turnovers, and how do you prevent turnovers? Run the ball. But I can definitely understand why they would be scared to hand the ball off to Williams and Stewart. Last year they fumbled so many times and lost so many balls, geez, I mean that'd be basically handing the ball to Arizona you know? Last season we were just decimated by turnovers on the ground, I mean Williams and Stewart combined for a horrible total of, hmm what was it...1 TURNOVER!!!

2300 yards combined and only 1 lost ball. Williams never fumbled in the regular season. Stewie fumbled twice and lost 1 ball. Watching that game leaves me so damn confused.

edit: lots of sarcasm for those of you who aren't paying attention :D

Amazing how badly the Panthers asses were kicked in thier own house. :(

Yeah, I was watching Live Wire on NFLN...hard to hear the comments of the Cardinals defense at the end of the game...

'Hell they were 8-0, undefeated at home, could not win when it counted...gotta when it counts.'

What team would know that better than the Cardinals.

Trgo was retarded. Thank jesus he's gone

i'm so glad his tenure's over.

the defense got worse and worse after 2005.

glad Meeks is on board. someone who's proven to make the defense work as a unit. ....Or maybe Dungy was the reason for that.

i guess we'll find out.

I agree. i SAID IT ONCE, I SAID IT 1000 TIMES, TurgoCRAP rode the talent of the defense for way to long. John Fox was too much of a homer to let his home boy go.

I hope iF Fox learnt ANYTHING last season he learned that he needs to be a head coach and make the HARD decisions (like getting rid of DEAD WEIGHT- and quit being so damn loyal) so his ass doesnt get canned.

There is a lot to be said about a man who leaves a head defensive coach job to become a position coach.. Nuff said.....

I think Fox has started to realize that he has to continue to "attack" and stay fresh or his ass will be gone.

i DONT think there is ANYWAY possible for Meeks to do worse with the talent we have on defense, and I expect BIG things from our guys...
