Bernadeau recently defended his title in the Overtime Sports/DeFranco's Training "World's Strongest Athlete" competition.

He was pushed for the championship by recent Texans first-round pick Brian Cushing, who came in second. Bernadeau won a tiebreaker during a 20-yard race where they had to push a sled loaded with 230 pounds of weights.

I could see Brock making the squad. His yards per catch in college was over 10 yards. At 255 lbs he is a fast tight end running the 40 in 4.65 which is similar to Barnidge but Brock is much stronger. The combination of the two- both fast and both good hands. I wouldn't be surprised if they make a good combination for years to come. I bet Brock makes the roster unless we think we can stash him on the practice squad. Exactly what you want. A big guy who blocks like a tackle but can outrun a linebacker and requires a safety. We haven't had a real passing threat at TE since Wesley. Sure would like to see us develop a few tight end prospects. Other than King who has been steady though not very flashy, we haven't had someone who we drafted turn into any kind of gem that I can remember..

Yea we've got some talented TEs. I think Rosario is the dark horse here, he may just surprise everyone. He has been training with the beast afterall, and even he says he's special.

I had high hopes for Rosario and after San Diego, I thought he was going to be special. But he was a huge disappointment after that. The thing for me is that I don't care who emerges as a great TE. Just someone please do it. I guess I keep latching onto the new guy after I see guys come in with high hopes and talent only to leave a few years later having played average at best. No one seems to keep improving or have that breakout year.

It might be the system or the talent or perhaps the coaching. Probably a combination of the three. Still Davidson had some tight ends in Cleveland. Wish we could develop a few here. With our emphasis on running the ball you would think it would be a priority position for us.

You know one I just realized is that King would be a hell of a TE if he just had another gear. He's already pretty good, solid hands, good run blocker.

At camp he looks to be pretty fast and then in games he never seems to get separation. I can't really tell if it was because our safeties were slow or other teams work to take him away. But he always seems to be in traffic and rarely gets that far open. To his credit he catches most things coming his way. Wish that all the tight ends would learn not to tip the ball up where it can easily be caught by an opponent. Both King and Rosario did that this year. Rosario more than once. It isn't too hard to direct it down instead of up.

His trainers right. Best way to gain mass and strength is keep your body guessing. I am loving the young talent we have on this OL. Gerald and CJ were both projected to go in the 3rd-5th round and we got them as UDFA. Duke Robinson had the talent to go in the late 1st and we got him in the 5th (and in a 4 year contract, nice). If these guys can live up to there potential we could have the best line in football both in starters and depth.
