Crabtree or Boldin

Too bad we could be playing as many as 5 rookies on defense at one time.

I just hope we learned what film study during the bye is. I also am hopeful that we recognize the play calling changes in the playoffs the 49ers make. I would put a huge emphasis on last years playoff games.

The rookies have an entire regular season under their belts now, not really rookies anymore. They have as much playoff experience as 80% of our roster.

The key is confusing Kaep pre-snap, make him indecisive and let our DL do their thing.

I'm not worried about the rookies. But they still are very much like rookies, it's been a long season and hopefully their able to push through

If the article suggesting that the play is called by the OC based on gamefilm and down and distance and Kaepernick has only one read and a dump off, then a huge goal is to be unpredictable and not do what we normally so. That way Roman will be calling a play based on what he has seen us do in the  past and we will do something different to blow it up.  Keep them guessing.

I watched the replay of the sf game from earlier this season and it did seem like Kap was a 1 read wonder. That's hard to believe with all of the success his team has had and his attitude after the game. It's still hard to believe bit I might watch that game one last time.

Do you think they will score more than two TD against our D?

Yes, I do.

Playoffs are different, and we are pretty young on D.  How many playoff games have the players on this D had total?  I doubt very many at all.

Wouldn't surprise me to see them drop 2 TD's and a couple field goals.

Florence is a good corner, and between the pass rush, Florence, and Mitchell, Crabtree SHOULDN'T be a problem. He'll get his catches, but I don't think he'll take the top off of our defense. I'm honestly looking for Boldin to have the bigger game. 1-on-1 for most of the game, likely, and that means more targets (unless Kaep does what we know he does and locks on to a receiver that isn't Boldin).

As we get closer, the more confident I get. We have the personnel to beat this team and we already proved it. Now we get to do it again while they're riding high. Is it Sunday yet?

Who do you think should man Boldin?

I say Cap, since he has the experience. If it's apparent that that is just a mismatch, you have to trust White or put one of our safeties at corner and put Lester in the game. OR, if he's active, try Norman on Boldin (don't like that much, since Norman is still so raw, but physically it's a good matchup).
