Your referring to Greg Cosell by chance? I heard him this morning saying Kaep is quick to go to his first option and if it isn't there he takes off running but Cam is more apt to going trough his reads first. Out of all the analysts, Greg is by far the best IMO.

I agree. I think he has the most objective opinions out there.

See the reason most people are picking Kaep over Cam is because Kaep has a lot more weapons to work with on Sunday. Even if we win Sunday. DG has to think real hard about double dipping in the first two rounds of this coming draft get Cam 2 of the best WRs that is there. I think we can get  Gross stay one more season and draft a true LT in the draft in 2015. It is be coming more and more that DG needs to surround Cam with some weapons to throw to. Olsen good, but he needs a star WR and a good WR as well. This draft coming is the time to strike. No more BSing.

I think we should get a receiver early but I think the other early draft pick should be an offensive lineman. Starting 2 rookie receivers probably isn't gonna happen. I just hope we can get the most out of our first and second round picks. When you get quality starters and contributors the rest will take care of itself.

Respect your elders people. He's dead wrong, but 1999 Steve Beuerlein is still the best season any Panthers QB has ever had.

He might be your elder but he isn't mine, and I might respect his one and only Pro Bowl season but that has nothing to do with his opinion on current NFL QB's. This time of year they'll stick a mike in front of a lot of former players, but his 2 cents is worth no more than anyone else's.

From a purely statistical stand point, I'd put Cams 2011 season up against Beurleins 1999.

Beuerlien:  60.1%, 4,436 yards, 36 TD, 15 INTs, 127 rush yards, 2 rush TD, 12 fumbles, 9 lost fumbles, 8-8 record

Cam:  60.0%, 4,051 yards, 21 TD, 17 INTs, 706 rush yards, 14 rush TDs, 5 fumbles, 2 lost fumbles, 6-10 record.

Not that someone really "cares", per se, but I am not surprised that some long time Panthers fan is a little irked by Beuerlein's comment, considering that most Panthers fans have had largely good thoughts about the journeyman who played relatively well for the franchise at the time, even breaking a few records along his five year stint in Charlotte. He'd been given his club card (i.e., his Panthers card) in the hearts and minds of some, notwithstanding his journeyman-like career. So you'd have thought that the guy would have had enough sense to be a little more diplomatic when verbalizing his opinions on Cam vs. Kap.

Needless to say, his card has been revoked, and his goodwill has been lost.

True, true.
