Does Crab play on the Oline?                      Kaep was running for his life that entire game it seemed.  He had no time to even really look for Boldin,  or VD (before he was knocked out).

The 9ers can have Rice in his prime AND Megatron,  but none of that would matter  if their qb is on his back or running for his life a second after the snap.

Not having to worry about having safety help on certain receivers makes a big difference in scheme. Makes it easier to send blitzes and bracket specific targets.

CAR had a lot of pressure, but it was still a one point game. So adding jerry and Mega obviously would have helped lol.

I'm more surprised a grown ass man went to another team's forums looking for their fans to concede that his favorite team is superior. You also worded your post to make it sound better for your team. You said "Davis only was able to play 22 snaps", making it sound like he had a bum knee or something, when in fact he got knocked the fug out. You also downplay the loss of Rogers. You're not evaluating poo, you're trying to convince yourself your team is going to win. WE DON'T GIVE A FUG WHAT YOU THINK

he is the same guy who is on facebook posting all his political diatribe trying to convince that whatever party he is apart of or whatever conspiracies he believes in, that anyone who doesnt follow or believe in is an idiot.  yea we all have at least one of those guys on our feeds.

The last meeting could have been close to a blow out if not for the Vernon fumble being officiated wrongly, the missed gano fg, and the punt that hit one of our players giving sf the ball right back near midfield.

I think most real 49er fans know that it is very difficult to win on the road twice in the playoffs, especially when playing a team like Carolina. I personally believe it is a 50-50 matchup and if you asked most real niners fans (not in message board trash talking) they wouldn't be guaranteeing anything.

I think it will be a very physical game and will likely turn on special teams and turnovers.  The reason Panther fans are hopeful despite the analysts picks is because Cam and the Panthers are much better at home compared to on the road.  We know that the 49ers have the better receivers we just don't think we have to put up big numbers to win.  Smith not being in the game is concerning.  We only hope someone else can step up.

Smith will play.

Was CAR able to get that pressure because they didn't feel a need to double or have safety help for the niners receiving core? This is what I mean by Crabtree's influence. We lost by one so a very small boost could have made a huge difference. Now if CAR gets 6 or more sacks again I put SF's chances at <20%.

No. They get that pressure every game.

The Panthers have a better team now than our last meeting for the following reasons:

1) We have a more competent/healthy OLine

2) We have had two weeks off to prepare for this game

3) Our defense has improved (mostly in the secondary)

4) We have fixed any and all ST issues

5) We've had a week of the media, including local radio (possibly other sources) spouting all week that SF will beat SEA next week... so we have the biggest chip on our shoulder possible

And most important difference in my opinion:

6) We're at home, at 1 PM EST

Damn y'all are being a bit harsh to OP, I thought he was pretty polite for an opposing fan.

Man, there was one rational fan on this board and I missed it the other day!

I honestly started this thread to have a friendly discussion. I came to the board before the first meeting and was impressed with how cool everyone on here was. I hoped we'd be playing again because this board was fun and the site is set up to be user friendly. I couldn't believe how cocky the board turned since week 10 and was shocked at how arrogant the fans were in guaranteeing a win today.

Panthers scared me and were a very dangerous team, but this is what can happen when you're more worried about trying to beat a team up than out execute them. Overconfidence = playoff killer.

To all the posters who flamed the ***** out of me, I hope you're happy with your crow.
