correct me if I'm wrong, but didnt your 2011 team beat some experienced playoff teams along the way to the NFCG after being absent from the playoffs for like 10 years or so?  i dont think it's that much more of an advantage but i get why so many people put an emphasis on it.

 

A fair point.  Just because it gives you an advantage, it doesnt mean you win.  In my personal opinion, I believe what advantage carolina has playing a home game is negated by the 49ers  combined playoff experience.  But thats all an advantage is, you still have to go out and earn it.

i know our guys will be nervous but once kickoff happens, all that matters is who wants it more.  we have been starving for playoff football since the 08 debacle, our fans will be ready and hopefully the team will be too.  Can't fuggin wait
