Are there ANY analysts that think we win on Sunday?

It's a what have you shown me lately media.

49ers:

Lost the 2011 NFC Championship by a fumble

Were five yards away from winning the SB last year

Won a playoff game last week in the Arctic Circle.

Have won on the road in hostile environments in post season twice.

The game earlier in the season was decided by 1 point against a depleted 49ers team.

49ers have their biggest playmakers in the line-up for the rematch

Panthers:

0 playoff appearances since Cam has arrived. Unproven thus far in elimination games.

An unhealthy Smith which is by far your best receiving weapon.

Both defenses are stellar so that's a wash.

So looking at these points from an unbiased opinion it's no surprise thet are picking the 49ers. The only people I hear that are confident are Panthers fans. I'll take the word of former player's analysis in the media before local fan bases.

Just FYI:

King and his three stooges over at MMQB picked the Panthers to lose this game before our playoff opponent was set. LOL.

Florio and MDS over at PFT have both picked the Cats to win Sunday. They're still (especially Florio) morons.

This site is pretty good about aggregating analyst picks.

Looking at the "experts" accuracy for the season pisses me off. I picked 78% of this season's games correctly in my office pool. They're all in the low 60's. ESPN... Call me. I got this.

BTW, my 78% says Car, Indy, Seattle, and Denver. Mark it down.

The fact that you put any credence to the ex players and media talking heads shows that you are an idiot.

Take a look at their stats on picks....they are no better not really know any more than the average fan

I heard something this morning on Sirius/XM NFL Radio on the way to work that soured my mood for the day.  Sal Paolantonio told the guys on "The Opening Drive" that he thought 3 of the 4 games this weekend were going to come down to the wire, the exception being San Fran @ Carolina.  When asked why he said Kaep made a believer out of him going into Green Bay and winning.

I've grown use to not getting any love from the media, but come on man.  SF beat an 8-7-1 Packers team that was without Clay on their sub-par defense playing an Aaron Rogers that couldn't of been fully 100% and won on a last second drive... ok.  The kicker is Sal's saying the AFC's 6th seed is going to go into Denver and take them to the wire.  Could very well happen, but that's a lot of love for a team that almost lost to a Chiefs team at home that was starting most of the cheerleading squad instead of their starters to rest their team.

On the way home I heard another interesting stat.... that Carolina's D has held every mobile style QB we've played to under 37 yards rushing.  On paper neither team should coast to a win on Sunday.

They are basing their opinions on what they have seen. I am basing my opinion on what I have seen. So by agreeing with them I'm an idiot???

If they picked the Panthers they would be geniuses I guess.

Sounds to me like somebody is butt hurt because most people are picking the 49ers. Win a playoff game or two and you'll get the media love.

I love these 8-7-1 Packers claims as to downplay a good road win last week. Newsflash, if Rogers was in the whole season GB would be a 11 12 win team easily. Nice try on that.

Let's see how good your offense performs in 4 degrees with wind chill -15 on the road.
