Are there ANY analysts that think we win on Sunday?

The 49ers were a Super Bowl favorite at the start of the season, The Panthers were not. That and it's a young, small market franchise squaring off against a prestigious, fan-favorite organization.

Even ESPN itself is picking Kaepernick over Newton in the rankings because of 'playoff experience' but judging from his average QB-play in the pocket it's beyond obvious that Colin isn't better despite having more weapons and protection. No disrespect intended. Kaepernick needs more development seeing as he's struggling to get the ball out quickly and going through his progressions.

100% agree on all points, especially the pocket presence/progressions points.

Those points were seen by everyone from game 2 on when defenses put their #1 corner on Boldin and doubled up on Vernon or vice/versa. He still defaults to his feet and never, ever goes to anyone but the first read. Occassionally he'll go to the second read, but that's rare.

Three guys caught TD passes this season: Vernon, Anquan, and one by Crabtree.

But, now that Crabtree is back, his lack of progressing isn't as noticeable.

I heard Theismann (sp.) on 610 yesterday hesitate when asked who he thought would win.  He started to say Carolina, but because he picked SF for his Super Bowl picks before the season started, he went with SF.  Fug him anyway... not really a fan of his, but I think he believes we will win.

Totally agree

All you fellow Carolina Panthers fans listen up. The Panthers won their division, have beat the 49ers on the road already, and rested over the bye week. Yet, they're underdogs at home. That will probably be brought up in that locker room a few times this week.

I told everyone last week before the wild card games to pick (,"the Chargers , Colts,Saints,49ers" ). All those predictions were  100% correct . Now I am telling you to pick the Carolina Panthers to beat the San Fransisco 49ers..

The only thing I don't like about that site is that it includes "The Bleacher Report" idiots as experts, thus skewing all results.

But it is a good way to see trends

Not to mention an expert named 'Yahoo users'.

The wild card round 'consensus' also included Philly and Cincy, so screw the experts. While it would be nice to get more respect, as the #2 seed, I think being the underdog provides more motivation for this team.

This is entertaining. At first I was like well, the Saints are getting less respect than us with 89 percent choosing the Seahawks. But then I was like, but we're the frigging home team that already beat the niners once. Yep we are definitely disrespected. Ultimately it doesn't matter. Let's just win and advance and do it all over next week when we play the Saints or Seahawks. I would guess that we will be the dogs either way. This is actually kinda funny.
