I only listen to Mick Mixo and Co.  anymore - its a bit annoying with the video delay but I live with it  -  I absolutely hate the suck assage every announcer gives the Panther opponents.

I was at the '05 Super Bowl (after we just lost to Seattle) and that jerk was in line right behind me for the bathroom. My drunk a$$ said "The Panthers will be in the Super Bowl next year" and he laughed directly in my face. The fact that he was right is completely irrelevant.

I honestly pay little attention to the announcers when it comes down to it. I am usually discussing it with others I am watching with. I dont think I have much of opinion regarding any of them. It mostly background noise.

At the end of the 2nd Saints game when Hixon caught the TD pass, neither he nor Aikman said a word for maybe 12-15 seconds so the TV audience could hear the crowd and soak in the on field celebration.

 

He's smart enough to know that sometimes less is more.
