Wide Receivers so far

Any of you watch much of Paul Richardson? What are his hands like? Is he a strong 175?

Ted Ginn and Wallace are both good comparisons from first glance. Wallace has 20 pounds on him but he's more of a WR than Ginn was in college. Kind of a mix of both IMO.

Okay hands. Not great, but good.

I see too much of Ginn, so I'm not a fan.

We go OT with our first 3 picks we are settling and not moving Forward   Way to many holes at WR and DB.  No OL in the Game of Football is going to hold up to hellacious blitzes due to no respect from WR's and fail to get open.  No running game is going to get going and carry the team when teams stack the box  Fox was Praising our OL most of the day against one of the best pressure D's in the NFL.  Cam got sacked when they brought the house for example one more rushers than blockers and blew right by tolbert like a Nascar car.

Notice how we hit the wall if we get to the playoffs this 08 and Seattle year.  Those teams had the same in common as today.  0 Weapons outside smith, same case today but Smith older.  Superbowl year the season we got over the hump.  Smith, Moose, AND Proehl.

My projection:

Sammy Watkins: 1

Mike Evans: 1

Marqise Lee: 1

Jordan Matthews: 1-2

Allen Robinson: 1-2

Odell Beckham Jr.: 1-2

Kelvin Benjamin: 1-2

Donte Moncrief: 2

Devante Adams: 2

Jarvis Landry: 2-3

Paul Richardson: 2-3

Brandon Coleman: 2-3

Jared Abbrederis: 3

That is about right.  Since we pick in the late second round, this suggests that we have Matthews through Adams in the first round, Landry through Abbrederis in the second round.  (We interviewed Abbrederis at the SR Bowl).

I am not a Kelvin Benjamin fan yet. There are red flags.

I think this about KB--if he checks out, he is going top 20.  If he runs slow or the character concerns (work ethic, mainly) become serious problems, I am not sure we risk it.  Some teams are either going to kick themselves for not drafting him or one team will kick itselves for drafting him.  He reminds me of the 2 WRs the Lions took before drafting Calvin.  And he reminds me of Calvin.

Abbrederis is ready to play.  His upside is limited, but he is the type who gives you 12 years at a high level.  he catches everything, and he gets open.
