I really dont see the love for Allen Robinson and Paul Richardson. Robinson is explosive off the screen but is not a down field threat. And, Paul Richardson really remind me of our very own: Ted Gin Jr.

Moncrief has very good hands, speed, and runs damn good routes.

yeah I just looked at his highlights and he is pretty damn fast and makes some nice catches in traffic.

Appreciate it.

Was really disappointed that your boy Brett Hundley isnt entering the draft. I had him projected very high.

I had a feeling he'd stay. I just hope he doesn't end up a Raider, lol. I think he could very well be the top QB taken next year, we started 3 freshman due to injuries on the o-line this year, and he has a top notch coach. He should continue to improve into next year. Needs to establish himself more in big games, he looked shaky against Stanford and Oregon this year.

I dont see a first round grade for Moncrief anywhere, for what i have seen i like the guy but the smart thing to do would be to take Benjamin if he is there and hope that Moncrief drops to the second pick or third round then you got a huge potential steal.

We just need Big solid WR's.  We already have that small gritty guy (Steve Smith).  With his age and getting older, he Needs to be moved into the slot into a Welker role.  Whenever he retires then we need to worry about the small gritty guy.  Ideal situation would get 2 of the Bigger solid WR's (similar to what the Bears did) Benjamin, Moncrief, Matthews.  Then have smitty playing from the slot, that will fix a Lot of the problems with the OL (No more Cam sitting around then have to scramble around after the OL can't hold up for 5+ seconds, just waiting on a WR to get open)

My thought are the we need a Smitty/Welker type small gritty guy AND a bigger target also.

Depends on what the coaches are thinking I suppose and who is avialable when we pick.

Jarvis Landry= Victor Cruz

Odell Beckham Jr= Randall Cobb

Brandin Cooks= Steve Smith

Paul Richardson= Mike Wallace

Donte Moncrief= Justin Blackmon

what i find crazy is that Richardson, Lee, Robert Woods(Bills), and Farmer(USC) all played on the same HS team in cali. Richardson is little tho, i think he weights around 175-180.

Moncrief best games came vs big time competition and talent. he torched Banks and Slay in the egg bowl in 2012 and those two went on to become 2nd round picks to the Bucs and Lions. he is a huge target with vertical speed. 6'3 226 listed but has 4.4 wheels.

Serra is a ridiculous program. They put out potential NFL talent in bunches every single year. What's even crazier is Lee didn't even play WR till his Senior year there. The next great Serra receivers are Adoree' Jackson (AJAX), and Jordan Lasley. Jackson could play DB in College (and the NFL for that matter), but he's a dynamic player on offense. From what I've heard he's expected to follow the Serra WR pipeline to USC, and he'll play on Offense there just like Lee did when he came in as a Safety/WR prospect. Lasley is a UCLA commit, but he also could end up at USC by signing day. Lasley is more of a possession guy with really solid route running and hands, while AJAX is the game breaker who can take the top off the defense, or take any touch the distance. Serra also has some really good Defensive prospects this year, and has one of the nations best Defensive Tackle recruits in 2015....

what's so special about Moncrief? Not hating just looking at his numbers and they are nothing special...obviously numbers don't tell the whole story (see Marqise Lee) but what makes him better than say Paul Richardson who put up significantly better numbers on a bad team..is it just because he is big?

His body is much bigger than Richardson's. Richardson looks slightly faster when you watch, but Moncrief is one of those long striders so I don't know if he his faster or not. Moncrief is also great playing the ball in the air (he's kind of wide, so he shields off the defenders) and is a much better blocker than Richardson.

Any of you watch much of Paul Richardson? What are his hands like? Is he a strong 175?

Ted Ginn and Wallace are both good comparisons from first glance. Wallace has 20 pounds on him but he's more of a WR than Ginn was in college. Kind of a mix of both IMO.
