Wide Receivers so far

My projection:

Sammy Watkins: 1

Mike Evans: 1

Marqise Lee: 1

Jordan Matthews: 1-2

Allen Robinson: 1-2

Odell Beckham Jr.: 1-2

Kelvin Benjamin: 1-2

Donte Moncrief: 2

Devante Adams: 2

Jarvis Landry: 2-3

Paul Richardson: 2-3

Brandon Coleman: 2-3

Jared Abbrederis: 3

This is just a rough guess on the order I seeing these guys getting drafted.

Watkins

Evans

Moncrief

Lee

Matthews

Benjamin

Beckham

Robinson

Adams

Landry

Cooks

Jesus, just writing out all those names gives you an idea of how deep this draft is at the position.

Watkins is the clear cut number 1 out of the group. I think scouts and teams are going to fall in love with Moncrief after the combine but Evans will still go ahead of him due to size. Lee being the playmaker he is goes next. Matthews over Benjamin due to experience and being more polished. Beckham over Robinson because of speed and hands. Adams over Landry and Cooks because of size. Landry over Cooks because of those velcro like hands.

Cooks is very good, if he can show up to the combine and run mid 4.4s, he'll start getting his due.  His ability to beat press in college bodes well for his future in the league.  Seen some compare him to Cruz.

Cooks is going to be blazing at the combine. Im talking 4.3. That is going to move his stock up even higher.

I see Cooks more as Antonio Brown than Cruz. I mean serious. He's very, very identical to Brown.

Yeah, I think he's destined to be a top-tier slot receiver. Regardless, he'll be a major weapon for whoever drafts him.

Me, personally, I tend to believe he runs a sub 4.5 (4.47 perhaps) but his ability to beat press is impressive as hell.

I think he could be more than just a slot receiver. He has the speed to play on the outside and plays bigger than his size.

He's explosive with the ball in his hands but is also a down field threat (20+yard: 17.39%), better than Watkins, Matthews, Landry, and Robinson.

Also, I think he's much faster than 4.5. Predicting in the 4.3 for Cooks in Indy.

Yup, this class is deep!

I think we all like Moncrief, but I really think he's not going to be taken high. I believe Moncrief will go late 2nd-3rd even with a good combine which I see happening. I just see guys like Beckham and Cooks going ahead of him as sexy picks.

cooks reminds me of smitty when he was very explosive. a guy that can play in the slot as well as on the outside. can get vertical down the field, but also has great route running ability and YAC skills. he can also go up and attack the ball at its high point really well for a guy with his size, just like smitty. one guy i do not see getting mentioned who could be a 2nd day guy is Brandon Coleman from rutgers. huge target, that has vertical speed, but more of a long strider.

i do believe Lee may slide down the board some, barring he doesnt run a 4.3 40 at the combine. and if he does, DG should run the card himself to Goodell to make the pick. people may be turned off from the knee issues, and lack of production this year, but this guy is really explosive. he runs good routes, catches with his hands, and has the ability to score on any catch. he does have vertical speed, as well.  think i may surprise some with my mock next week after everybody declares.

what's so special about Moncrief? Not hating just looking at his numbers and they are nothing special...obviously numbers don't tell the whole story (see Marqise Lee) but what makes him better than say Paul Richardson who put up significantly better numbers on a bad team..is it just because he is big?

Big and physical, can high point the ball, great after the catch

can beat defenders and stretch the field vertically

He just had Bo Jlow throwing to him

if he played with a more prolific qb he would be a top 2 wr in the draft

a complete wr in every aspect

I would love to have Coleman in the 2nd, even more so in the 3rd. I just think that he might end up in NE earlier than expected.

If Lee falls, damn damn damn. Take him and run away, no questions asked. Lee will be the best receiver out of this class at the end of the day if he is fully healthy. He does everything well.

Go YouTube and see if for yourself.

I really dont see the love for Allen Robinson and Paul Richardson. Robinson is explosive off the screen but is not a down field threat. And, Paul Richardson really remind me of our very own: Ted Gin Jr.

Moncrief has very good hands, speed, and runs damn good routes.
