I'm originally from Raleigh and now live in Sonoma county. Tons of 49er fans at work. I've been avoiding the trash talk this week. I'm going to probably be in sf on Sunday. The funniest part of this whole thing is how enthusiastic raider fans are about the panthers winning!

The worst part on Sundays has to be getting up so damn early for the 10am games. Especially if you've gone out the night before. Many a time I've walked into the sports bar hungover as hell.

Another West Coast Panther fan here, long time Huddle reader and now that the Panthers get the Niners again, I just had to sign up and drop a post to support my boys...

I live in the California Central Valley not far from the bay and I am surrounded by Niner and Raider fans, but I rep the black and blue all day, every day. Just wanted to pop in and let you all know that I will be cheering loud and proud come sunday (right in front of my family full of Niner fans) and just like all of you, I am certainly convinced that we have the squad to get the job done....

Years ago post Montana days when the 49ers started to go downhill the local rag, SF Gate I believe it was used to have a fans forum.

I trolled those fuggers for a while and my user name was Sorry, Joe Montana is too old to come back. 

Had some of those fuggers so mad one threatened he knew where I lived and he was going to hunt me down and fug me up. 

I waited, the Whiner never showed, anyway that forum is no longer. I also wrote a letter to the editor explaining what a spoiled, entitled fan base 9er fuggers are and they should be happy at 10-6 or whatever they were and quit being such bytches and to their credit, the Editors published it. 

Their fans still haven't changed.

 

LOL. That's hilarious, only a Giner fan would get riled up enough on the interwebs to threaten you in real life. I live in LA so way too many of them around here, they are walking examples of entitlement at it's finest. I also think they forget, that just a few years ago, their team was in the bottom half of mediocracy and Vernon Davis was crying on the bench.

I ran into a guy in a Cam Newton jersey inside a strip club in Vegas last month and I felt like an idiot going past naked women to talk to a guy.

But in all seriousness, I've told my SF fans they don't want to watch the game with me. If we win I'll talk poo until they hate me an leave, if we lose I'll tell them to get the fug out of my house. So basically it's a bad idea to watch football with me if you are a fan of the team we are playing. My neighbor is a saints fan and won't even say hello to me anymore.

Side note: I'm in Livermore and any panthers fans looking for a Panther-friendly place to watch the game are welcome to come over. Beer and Whiskey is on the house just bring some sour cream and cheddar ruffles and keep up.

didn't realize there were so many California Panther fans. Never met 1 in person, not 1 haha. Both my parents went to UCLA and I go to all the football games, so I really got into the Panthers when they had Foster and Rick Manning Jr. during the super bowl run.  Still don't know why we didn't pick up Kai Forbath or Joseph Fauria haha I can live with it though.

Panthers win:  she wears my Muhammad jersey at work (PayPal) all day on Monday, as her outer layer, and has to send me pics at least 3 times throughout the day, no less than 1hr apart.

 

Refs give the game to the 9ers: I change my avatar to Krapernick making love to his bicep, and my sig to a 9ers collage.  I also have to defend the 9ers all day on here on Monday, and send her screen captures of my posts...should lead to some interesting flaming should this come to be.  :)
