Draft Kelvin Benjamin

Benjamin did exactly what I wanted him to do.he had a good but not great game. If he had dominated he would been out our range, we don't get anything out of him taking over that game, Just the people getting a opinion that haven't watched him play all year. He should be a option for us at the bottom of the first, I don't think he makes it to our second pick.

i would love him at the end of the 1st, i watched the game just to see him and was disappointed that FSU had not used him in the 1st half. He missed one he should have had, had one blocked. But when the game was on the line he out jumped his guy for the TD. thats what i wanted to see and i would like him to be the pick.

He with not make it to the 64th pick in the draft just because of upside. There are currently 3 teams currently worry as far as having WR as a need like us. Kansas City, Browns, San Fran. All these teams are currently rumoured to want weapons. So if they don't take on before us then they will still have another chance to rob us again before our pick in the bottom 2nd

I see similar critique being thrown at Matthews that happened with Keenan Allen and Anquan Boldin.

I get people want explosiveness but I think Matthews is a verifiable NFL caliber receiver.  His game is highly refined and he has a natural nack of getting to the ball.  Smooth routes, great in-game awareness, and consistent for the most part.

Just in general and not for a certain pick, I like Lee, S-J, Matthews, Benjamin, Robinson, & Moncreif...(in that order)

No thanks. Like I said in the N.C thread, he doesn't catch the ball or run routes consistently enough for me. Players I'd want before him - Watkins, Robinson, Moncrief, Landry, Matthews. I may be able to name the more later after I do some more draft research

I like Benjamin, but I think he's a Brandon Lafell 2.0.  He'll have a big game or two, but for the most part, Benjamin comes off as an inconsistent WR.  I'm sold on Matthews from Vanderbilt.  He's the SEC's all time leader in yards and receptions, which is no easy task to accomplish.  This guy seriously reminds me of Andre Johnson.  Really hope we get him in the first round.

I love Benjamin and Robinson but they're not better than Moncrief. Matthews isn't even on his level (that'd be like comparing Allen to Gordon), but he remains a very good talent.

My Top 12:

1.) Watkins - Top 5

2.) Lee - First

3.) Moncrief - First

4.) Evans - First

5.) Cooks - FIrst

6.) Robinson - First/Second

7.) Benjamin - First/Second

8.) Landry - Second

9.) Matthews - Second

10.) Beckham - Second

11.) Parker - Second

12.) Coleman - Third

Watkins, Evans, and lee will definetly be gone before the 19th pick.in a best case scenerio.

That leaves moncrief, cooks, robinson, and benjamin from the 19th pick down. Not to mention at least 3 teams with wr as a high priority after that who pick before us.. So I eliminate cooks cause he small and will keep smitty from preserving career in the slot. That leaves 3 bpa Wr left. So are you not willing to take Benjamin at our pick if he makes it pas those 3 teams?

After the 1st rd you could be left with landry and below hoping they make it to the bottom

Lol at comparing Benjamin to Lafell. Matthews is good but stats ain't everything.

I wouldn't count Evans, Watkins, or Lee out so fast especially if everyone declares that is predicted. Most mock drafts I've seen still has atleast one of these on the board. Like I said on a seperate thread if these three are taken then that probably means there were some highly rated oline players that dropped, we would be better off with them as a first round pick. Because of Benjamin's size I think he would be a great 2nd rounder for someone and probably a steal for a late 2nd rounder
