FSU - Auburn Game Thread

I have been watching Winston all season, i can honestly say dude will be a number 1 pick when its time. U Cant base everything off one game, he has started slow in games before this season and turned it on later. He will improve his technique and his body, he has time. He will work hard to get there.

1 more year in The NCAA. 1 year in the pro 's .

Yeah no team at the #1 pick has that kind of patience.

If they pick him they will have to be, if he is on a bad team he will be a pick machine

HIs receivers have bailed him out of some questionable decision making

Tight up his release and all doubt go away I think.

Maybe so, but there isn't great track record of success for QB's who enter the NFL with mechanics deficiencies. I don't know that you can coach those away. And he has a weird pocket presence. Very inexact, I know, but sometimes eyes see what the mind is unable to.

Again, we'll see, but sure as hell wouldn't draft him #1 over all.

He may have his deficiencies (and no doubt, he does) but I think he's a future No. 1 pick. I would take him No. 1 this year if I could. He's that good. Alot of it I think is the intangibles. I've never seen a team that had so much confidence and trust in their QB and that is a testament to his leadership. That's the problem with Geno Smith, not his physical assets. Geno is physically gifted but is a whiny little bitch and will never be a leader like the NFL QB position requires.

To much homerisms in here to havr a serious football discussion.tre mason deangleo williams? Huh... jameis to cam? Cam is a athletic marvel a rare athlete. Jameis is a precision passer who is able to pick up yards on the ground similar to andrew luck running the ball. His mechanics aren't usually that bad he was just getting pressured in the pocket. Coming out Winston is light years ahead of cam as a passer. He wins between the ears. Not to say cam can't. But im still not sure cam reads defenses exceptionally well.

Winston does this remarkably well for a freshman. People paning him need to wake up.

As an Auburn fan, I am still proud of them. To go from 3-9 to 12-2 and #2 in the country is a pretty amazing turn around. With Gus Malzahn, they will be in the hunt for years to come. Our recruiting base just got larger and I am very excited for the future.

Look out pseudo-playoffs. The Aurburn Tigers are coming back next year with a vengeance!!!

Winston is legit. His ball placement is out of this world. He doesn't throw the ball at the receiver. His games are all over youtube and I watch them all. When his team was down and Auburn was running wild in the 1st half I was posting that if Auburn is only up by 2 scores at half time they're in trouble. The reason I knew that is because I knew Winston would start picking them apart once the game settle and that's exactly what happen. Winston is the kind of player who uses every single personnel on the field. If you blitz him he'll get the ball out quick and place the ball only where his receiver can it and in position to pick up YAC. Teams will be tanking for Winston next season.

Everything broke right for Auburn (refs don't call muggings, 3 muffed punts bounce right back to them, Marshall has the game of his life, etc) and the Noles still pulled it out. Impressive, impressive win.

and ripping off Winston's face mask that wasn't called.
