Kelvin Benjamin reminds me of Dwayne Jarrett at USC, similar size. Both had concerns about their breakaway speed at the next level. Also, their deficiencies as receivers are masked because they had/have Heisman level QBs throwing to them (Leinart at USC, Winston at FSU).

Who would you rather have?

 

Moncrief or Benjamin?

 

I would really have to go with Benjamin bc he's a big target for Cam and will be one in the end zone; something we lack.

 

Also, I'm basing this on who would fit better with Cam and our offense. Benjamin is a solid blocker that will help benefit our run game. Also, he doesnt need the ball in his hands all the time: only 50 rec for the season (not including tonight). Benjamin can def stretch the field with his 19.1 avg.

You can't put down Benjamin without doing the same to Matthews (who has a bad case of the drops).

Matthews usually leads the SEC in catch rate, or, is generally in the top 5. Drops are not something Matthews is known for.

(It'd be hard for a guy to become the all time leader of a conference in as many categories he did if he dropped the ball consistently)
