FSU - Auburn Game Thread

The media and scouts try to find weakness in Bridgewater's game and all they can come up with is that he only weighs 200 pounds. The NFL season starts in september. that's 9 months from now. As if a 21 y old kid can't add 15-20 pounds in that span of time. I put on 20 in 3 months easily before.

Weight is not even an issue

Nitpicking is what scouts do, no team is taking that seriously

sorry...?? ive only seen Winston play maybe 6-7 times, he just looks extremely unimpressive to me when conisdering what he could do on sundays. could be wrong

He is young, still doing the one read shuffle

Give him some time, next year he will better

1. Bridgewater runs a pro style offense

2. He comes to the LOS with three different plays and makes the calls at the LOS

3. He is football savant, memorizes 25 different plays after 10 mins of review

4. He is very accurate and has great ball placement

5. Loves football

6. more than adequate arm strength

7. Pocket poise is brady like

*Arm strength and velocity will improve once a coach teaches him to torque is lower body in his trhows

Bridgewater is the real deal

I think Bortles will be alright but he is inconsistent

Carr is mr happy feet around pressure (no qb excels with that as a characteristics)

Bridgewater has a huge knock on him though, his slight frame. He's tall and lanky with out a whole lot of room to add bulk and strength. Tons of question marks about if he'll be able to ever last a full NFL season.

The reason it's a serious issue with him is he has narrow shoulders and hips, not a lot of room to add a bunch of weight to his 6-3 196 ilb frame.

could be. "better" still doesn't mean "good in the pros tho."

idk, don't understand the hype. I know talent when I see it, and so far, he deff aint it. but we'll see I guess

If he was like Johnny (Whom I love) or Vick I would understand that, however Bridgewater is a pocket qb, if he gets to 215 he will be fine

if mike glennon can last half a season, then bridgewater can. im a bridgewater critic, but his frame should be a non-issue.

You adding 20 pounds eating ham over thanksgiving is not the same as an athlete putting on weight. Once you play at a certain weight, it's hard to get used to that weight quickly. If he does it before the combine, his numbers will suffer.

Certainly he has to do it after the combine. But 15-20 pounds is nothing and he's not really cut to begin with so he has room to add muscle.

I will admit that, he is no where ready for the pros right now, even if FSU does win he has too many holes in his game at this point.

It really sounded ridiculous that he would be a consensus #1 pick next year

Hey.... Look at the bright side, at least he isn't in here coaching a non existent game tonight.

Non existant? Sooooo the colts-chiefs and bengals-chargers games never happened?

Damn. Im so so sorry to hate on you Dalton supporters. But again, as expected, I was right, yet again. That sucks bro. Sorry :( you'll learn eventually. Take care

Completely agree. But I swear that has to be all media/agents saying that. Theres no way a scout with a brain can think that
