I heard after he checked in with the team doctor, he went back to the lockerroom and wiped his nose on Cam Newton's head-towel.  He was also seen coughing up phlegm into Charles Johnson's gym bag.

 

I can't say this is 100% true, but I trust my inside source.

Bronchitis is caused by a viral process 90% of the time. So an antibiotic wouldn't be effective as they only treat bacterial infections. The team doctor might have gave him some anyways though.

With any luck, Hardy will be fine and ready to unleash the Kraken on Kaeperdick come Sunday!

I think there are two types. Viral and bacterial. Not a dr but my wife is succeptible to the bacterial strain when a cold persists. She has never past it to me or the kids. A Zpak kicks it in a couple of days though.

He was live on Panthers Gameday last night on wcnc and looked perfectly fine. He'll be good to go.
