Hey Niners fan here. I just wanted to say I've enjoyed watching your team play this year. Your front 7 is easily top 3 in the league and you have a good young QB who just needs some more pieces to play with. I think you guys overachieved this season. Maybe for that reason you guys didn't get as much respect as you deserve but to be honest no one saw you coming but now you're here. Good luck next season

I don't wish injury or ill will on anyone. You guys won it in second half based on bs calls that killed our momentum in second half. You guys did overplay us second half but then again, a few really bad calls, robbing us of defensive momentum and offensive momentium lead us to not playing like we should. I wish you guys the best on your run and hope regardless of how it ends, both your fan base and your team handles it with humility and class which you are not known for.       Respectfully, I completely disagree. Last year we were:  32nd in Sacks. 32nd in Turnovers.  32nd in Rushing TDs allowed  29th in Scoring.  We were absolutely atrocious on defense last year and that was with a full stable of weapons in Derek Brown, Frankie Luvu and Brian Burns that played all 17 games.  Using yards per game as a metric to guage our success lacks the context that because our offense was so inept teams were not driving the length of the field, they were starting at their 40-50 yard line.  This year, our Defense ranks:  31st in Sacks. Tied for 19th in Turnovers  31st in Rushing TDs allowed 32nd in Scoring  His defense fails to get pressure, fails to turn the ball over and fails to stop the run. Three things you absolutely have to do to be successful in the NFL.  Denver meanwhile has not missed a beat without him.  If another team wants to hire him as a HC and the Panthers get two 3rds for it I'll wish him the best and pack his bags myself.
