Seriously..if a team is historically sh**y on the road...why would you take pride in beating them...regardless if that team won a Super Bowl in the past?

 

Sorta sounds like all the Seahawk fans who were boasting about Blanking the Cardinals last year...when the Cards came into the game 0 and 8...I mean, is it NOT a given that a good team should pretty much man-handle an 0-8 team or is there a memo somewhere I didnt' get that suggests otherwise?

 

For as good as each team is...and for the amount of players (on both sides) who didn't play last time...yes...a win is a win..but you guys won by 1 point....!!!!

 

I don't see that happenig again...regardless of who wins!

Comparing the Saints on the road to an 0-8 team is ludicrous, seriously, words are unable to describe the discrepancies of that argument. Come on here, let's have a debate without silly comparisons.

Bottom line is I like how Carolina is flying under the radar this week and how we have had an extra week to get healthy and prepare. We don't have to worry about travel so in my mind if we lose, there are going to be zero excuses from me and most of our fanbase. From everything I'm seeing and reading, I don't think the same can be said for niners fans. If by some chance we shock the world (sarcasm) and win we will have to listen to how lucky we were and how many blown calls the refs made/didn't make. How their kicker if he would have wore his lucky socks on the right foot we wouldn't have got the win, how Harbaugh is great but his O coordinator is horrible and should take all of the blame, Crabtree still wasn't 100% and Davis was probably still feeing the effects of the concusion he suffered the first time around. Niners fans are the best in the league at complaining and talking about the 5 super bowl wins they had SO many years ago. This is a what have you done for me lately league and you guy's have done nothing but lose a super bowl to a team that didn't even make the playoffs the next year. Let me guess, they would have been second best in the league had Lewis and Reed not left the team. Enough complaining from the whiners, the game will be played in between the white lines on Sunday between a lot of grown men. The end!

Fans of both teams will always be 'cocky', because everyone takes pride in who they support/love and if you weren't 'cocky'...I'd ask if you were truly a fan yourself!

Suggesting one team's fans are 'cocky' or 'arrogant' is nothing but an opinion..and is open for debate!

I'm not going to come out and say one team is going to win over the other, simply because there are too many factors to consider...

Whoever wins will be based on who plays better defense...gets a few lucky breaks here and there...controls the clock..aka 'time of possesion..and of course, takes advantage of each and every opportunity!

On a side note: I'm appalued that a Panther fan, who appears to be a MARINE would have the balls to say the following to ANYONE!

By the way Jake delhomme is going to go on their in about 5 minutes. You just need the tune in radio app to hear it. I am dying to see if Jake is more faithful to our team than Steve buerlein was.

The Panthers are 7-1 at home the niners are 6-2 on the road (losing both the games they had on the road to playoff teams one a blowout to the hawks which I can't fault you for seeing as the saints got us on the road the other a road loss to the saints.)

Also it's laughable that you don't understand what a difference 22 sacks make especially on a per snap basis.

Oh and one last thing the panther defense gives up just 12 ppg at home... Holding even the mighty saints offense (which is better than the 49ers even healthy) to 13 points... and your rival Seahawks to 12...
