every 49er board I have been to wants me to sign up to read it.

Yeah, you've gotta sign up. It was bad the past couple of years, so they changed the rules.

& Yeah, we really haven't beaten Carolina in 13 years. True,  but, yea, Carolina is the Underdog.

This argument is dumb Between all involved, much like the arm strength debate. Both teams have their strengths and weaknesses yet run completely different schemes. Your offense overall is more well rounded then ours but I doubt it's as efficient. That said, if we get in a "shoot out"(upper teens to twenties) then you all have the up hand due to big play ability. If it's a defensive struggle, eventually our efficiency on first and 3rd down will prevail.

Thank you all-knowing cavedweller!

What would we have we done without you! We probably would have continued to argue the relative superiority of our respective teams on an internet forum dedicated to a professional sports team. GASP.

And the finesse of your argument: shoot out = SF win; defensive struggle = CAR win, genius.

I guess we will just continue to be dumb ... you can't save everyone.

I will remember this post at about 445 on Sunday afternoon when we all come here to tear you a new one...er, maybe I shouldn't use that lingo with a Niner fan

Well played PD, well played. Except you will have to wait until MONDAY because I'll be too lit from celebrating our moving on to defend our NFC Championship at the stick--yah I'm hoping your rivals beat Seattle. Plus, I'll be battling the dot.com DBs to get tickets to the game.

We are used to comeback wins in defensive games. One of your games like this have resulted in a win, Seattle. None of us are drinking the kool-aid of the unbeatable, logic defying, foul crying 49ers. I apologize but you just aren't that good. With all of your "top" guys you scored 23 against a depleted packers team. Don't let the door hit you in the ass.

Here's some evidence to support the claim. Both Kap and Cam were at the same combine, and Kap tested out better in the arm strength department. Kap threw the ball at 59 mph, and Cam's best throw was 56 mph, 3rd in the draft. He also throws a 95mph baseball. And though its not actual physical evidence, most talking heads think Kaepernick or Flacco has the strongest arm.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/02/28/source-radar-gun-says-kaepernick-had-combines-strongest-arm/

Anyway, if you compare that stupid play as you call it to the best throw of Cam's you can find, you might have a point. See ify ou can find a throw that illustrates Cam's "stronger" arm.

Throwing the fast ball at a certain distance doesn't exactly mean strongest arm.

Plenty of talking heads mention Stafford and Newton......who can fling it farther and faster without the HUGE slow windup

The 49er's have a proud history only second to Pittsburgh in super bowl wins...............however, this is now......... not last year or decades ago.

Cam seems to thrive in big time pressure opportunities............it will be interesting to see how his instincts take over during his play in this game. I anticipate him creating damage with key 3rd down scrambles and pass plays..........and perhaps a big run or two for points.

Our defense will play at their peak again and will offer issues for Kap's pocket passing to be tested beyond anything he saw in GB last week.

There is a reason why the first string announcing team is covering this game for FOX again...........they anticipate it to be a good one.

May the best team win and please allow me to respectfully close with some words of encouragement to 49er fans everywhere....

Nuck the Finers!

How come no 49ers fans remember that V.Davus waa knocked out of the game. It's not like he wase there. He just got knocked out cold.

He better hope it doesn't happen again.

Our team was far from full strength we we last played..but ya don't see them even mention that.

Every team has players hurt in the NFL.

Stop making excuses.

why don't you look up the stats of every TE the Panthers defense has faced.

The Panthers have shut down elite TE's all season long.

Keep laughing it up, chump.

I know this be the best game of the week.

I bet I've been watching football longer than you've been alive.

Not that first game against Graham lol..Ya'll held him to 58 yards, but he did score 2 TDS lol. Even the 2nd game 73 and a td

Even though it was garbage time, Ruldolph with 97 yards and a tD with a good mention

Maybe Gonzalez, but Ya'll didn't necessarily shut down graham
