What 49ers Fans are Saying

W-L on game day, not season (covered elsewhere). I agree sacks are huge during the course of a game. 6 the last time we faced your D--I think. If that happens again, we are in trouble. But back to the original argument that our D is not as dominant, I think you are blinded by your love of your team if you think that your D is clearly better or even just better than ours. There's pluses and minuses accross the front 7 and back end of the D for both of us. I call it a push when comparing our D's.

As for scoring more 10, you'd better hope the same for your team because it too didn't fare so great our last game. And yes, I'll be back.

This argument is dumb Between all involved, much like the arm strength debate. Both teams have their strengths and weaknesses yet run completely different schemes. Your offense overall is more well rounded then ours but I doubt it's as efficient. That said, if we get in a "shoot out"(upper teens to twenties) then you all have the up hand due to big play ability. If it's a defensive struggle, eventually our efficiency on first and 3rd down will prevail.

There is not much of an argument anyone can make about Davis's speed but I dont think he is as sure handed as you suggest.  Not saying he is butter fingers but his drop rate is probably on par with Olsen's and some other top 10 TE's in the league

Yeah but he's really efficient.  52 receptions and 13 touchdowns is 25% of his receptions or 1 of every 4 catches results in a touchdown.

Monday is going to be GrrrrrrrEAT! Coming back to this forum, finding all of your posts on how you're gonna beat the living geezus out of the NINERS and replying with a gloat-filled post .... it's gonna be E.P.I.C.

Of course, if you win I'll be back to say I was wrong and how I want you to win the Super Bowl. Thankfully that will not happen.

Can't wait for Sunday. Close game. MIGHTY NINER win.

I will remember this post at about 445 on Sunday afternoon when we all come here to tear you a new one...er, maybe I shouldn't use that lingo with a Niner fan

Yeah, he does. He takes twice as long to release the ball which is his problem. Can releases that ball so much faster that it negates the difference in arm strength. Find me one strike from Cam that is harder then Kaps long TD to Davis. I think Cam is the more complete quarterback but to sit here and debate arm strength just shows your bias.

Go watch the TD he threw to Olsen against ATL the last game.

ehhh as much as I hate the Saints its really hard to argue that there is a better tight end than Jimmy right now. Gronk is a freak but can't stay healthy. Jimmy played with a broken foot for half the season

Regardless. Still > Davis.

This is why instead of the LAME pro bowl game. Even lamer this year they should incorporate a skills challenge into the weekend. Do the NFL fastest man, could have a arm challenge etc. I would watch that. You could actually get some real competition

They use to have the skills challenge. I never knew why they got rid of that.....

I remember Byron Leftwitch and i think Big Ben battling it out on who had the strongest arm.

lol you're constructing an entire argument from "omg guys did you not see that one play? guys, look at this play" and trying to protect yourself from the numerous people who have criticized your "point of view," if you can call it that, with "lyk zomg you guiz quit bein such homers, be impartial like me"

10 yard strike vs a 60 yard strike. Apples to oranges. Cam has a gun and a fast release which I'll take over a cannon and a baseball wind up. Like I said previously, saying Kap has a stronger arm than Cam is like saying I'd rather have a Roles than a Bentley.

Plenty of examples of Newton's arm strength, but the laser to Olsen against the Failcons comes to mind.....as does the bullet to Ginn on the GWD against the Taints.

You know when you resort to trying to demean me it just makes yourself look bad. Go look at the play and get back to me. Once again your being foolish by failing to realize that it DOES NOT MATTER WHO HAS THE STRONGER ARM. Kap takes years to release the ball and can't work in tight spaces whereas Can can deliver a strike from the pocket in the blink of an eye.

So ongahhzzzz someone said zzz dat my Qbzz arm is not stronger than someone else. Your wrong and I apologize for being argumentative.

I'm sure some 49er people can provide more examples of throws just like the one I'm referring to. Cams strike to Olsen in Atlanta showed that it doesn't matter, he can get the ball there.
