I don't think Kap has a stronger arm. He has to wind up for a baseball throw. Cam can flick his wrist with his lower body not set and throw a rope downfield.

Yes, in non ideal conditions. But in all honesty, watching Kap throw the ball 50 yards to Davis in Tampa was damn near the hardest throw I've seen. Saying Kap has a stronger arm is not in anyway an insult to Cam. The arm strength doesn't matter one bit if you don't have the presence to make tough throws under pressure,,which Kap doesn't do yet.

We were severely hobbled and yall came away with a 1 point victory. Kap played like crap but so did Cam aside from making a couple clutch 3rd down completions. We will definitely put up more points this time around. Staley shut out the infamous "Kraken." Was he playing hurt or did Staley just do a good job? This is no knock at Hardy, because Staley is a stud LT.

Find me a faster TE who rarely ever drops a pass. I guess him being an All Pro didnt mean much? Graham is very good but benefits from his stellar pass game.  Anyway doubt Davis at your own peril, he's a touchdown machine scoring in 7 of the past 8 games hes played in.  Yes he didnt play well against carolina because he spent most of the game on the sideline.  Good luck making that happen again.

 

Kap has  passed for more yards and a higher completion percentage this season since Crabtree came back. Seems his having more options has helped thus far.

 

There is not much of an argument anyone can make about Davis's speed but I dont think he is as sure handed as you suggest.  Not saying he is butter fingers but his drop rate is probably on par with Olsen's and some other top 10 TE's in the league

ehhh as much as I hate the Saints its really hard to argue that there is a better tight end than Jimmy right now. Gronk is a freak but can't stay healthy. Jimmy played with a broken foot for half the season

If Vernon Davis played for exclusive passing teams like Gronk and Graham do, there would be no question that he is the better TE. Not only is VD a matchup nightmare for even most safties in the league, he is also an exceptional blocker.

The Panthers are 7-1 at home the niners are 6-2 on the road (losing both the games they had on the road to playoff teams one a blowout to the hawks which I can't fault you for seeing as the saints got us on the road the other a road loss to the saints.)

Also it's laughable that you don't understand what a difference 22 sacks make especially on a per snap basis.

Oh and one last thing the panther defense gives up just 12 ppg at home... Holding even the mighty saints offense (which is better than the 49ers even healthy) to 13 points... and your rival Seahawks to 12...

W-L on game day, not season (covered elsewhere). I agree sacks are huge during the course of a game. 6 the last time we faced your D--I think. If that happens again, we are in trouble. But back to the original argument that our D is not as dominant, I think you are blinded by your love of your team if you think that your D is clearly better or even just better than ours. There's pluses and minuses accross the front 7 and back end of the D for both of us. I call it a push when comparing our D's.

 

As for scoring more 10, you'd better hope the same for your team because it too didn't fare so great our last game. And yes, I'll be back.

Yeah, he does. He takes twice as long to release the ball which is his problem. Can releases that ball so much faster that it negates the difference in arm strength. Find me one strike from Cam that is harder then Kaps long TD to Davis. I think Cam is the more complete quarterback but to sit here and debate arm strength just shows your bias.

The coverage had almost nothing to do with why we shut down kaep we played the same basic zone blitz we have all season the difference is the pass rush and ours is better than when we last met...
