What 49ers Fans are Saying

And now you are discounting that same dominance and making excuses for why the Niners lost.

Typical douchebag Niners fan.

Listing the reasons why I think the result will be different this time than last is discounting your dominance and making excuses? Okay. It really doesn't matter why we lost and you won during the regular season -- I've got reasons (excuses) and you've got reasons (facts) as to why that game ended the way it did. Doesn't matter. Come Sunday my team is looking to get back to the Super Bowl to win it for a 6-1 record. So, carry on with your name-calling toddler tirade. I'll be back on Monday to see what choice words you've got. Again, win or lose I'll be back to hear it all.

Boldin, Crabs, and Davis are all better than anyone on your team this year.  Face it stop being a homer.  This is why everybody laughs at you.

I wouldnt argue that one single bit.  Any other year I would have taken Smith over any of those guys.  but your point proves how much better Cam is than Colin doing more with so, so much less.  QB, C and FB are the only positions on offense where we are better and only QB are we significantly better but our offense was stronger until you got fully healthy, now pretty much even.

You can double Crabs, we still have Boldin and you can't single Davis with a LBer, he will win everytime.  So you double Crabs, and single Davis.  I am guessing you single Boldin, which would be a mismatch as well, then you have Gore and kaep's running as well.  I don't think you understand what Crabs being back has done for this offense.

seeing that we play zone the majority of the time, i'm not really worried about any one guy in particular nor am I worried about who we double, that will come by playing a man under and another over.  we will blitz from all positions, and show blitz from others then drop in coverage.  this helps against versatile QB's that can run because everyone is looking more at the ball than any one receiver.   while i dont think your defense is any better than ours, i wouldnt sit here and say ours is clearly better than the 9ers either.  both our strengths are in the front 7, while i think our secondary is a bigger weakness than yours.   overall, like everyone i expect a lower scoring game, but weird things happen and teams like KC buts up 44 points so this game could surprise everyone and be a shootout.

I like how Rivera is pretending that Kaep was just playing bad back then,  because of Kaep.... not because of the panthers.

Kaep had a 101 qb rating and the 49ers were averaging around 34 points a game during their 5 game winning streak........  before the Panthers came in and busted them in the mouth...  forcing Kaep into the worst game he has ever had as a pro.

I am not the loser hanging out on another team's message board . Quite sad and pathetic if you really think about it.

Ok look, I have to admit that I was way overconfident for the first game, I love my Niners.

Your defense was insane and literally shut us down! Our defense played pretty well also, but hey look at the score.

I think Sunday is going to be a street fight! It's gonna get bloody! You guys have Smith coming back and by the way.......your welcome for Ginn! I knew we'd miss him.

Cam is awsome to watch and he has left his mark on football forever, Mike Tolbert and Hardy are on fire!

Im so excited for this matchup! We are healthy and angry! It's gonna be a hell of a game!

VD, Boldin, Crabtree and Patton make good targets, and our front 7 is incredible! I think our db's are a little weak and hope we can get some pressure on cam, so maybe he will make some mistakes..... I think that is what it will come down to whoever makes the least mistakes!

Well...here is to a great game and the refs not deciding it for us...Let's get it on!!!!

PS Sorry Mods for posting in your tailgate thread. Whoops!

Let's see let's go by w-l then

Both teams are 12-4 we won h2h advantage panthers.

The Panthers are 7-1 at home the niners are 6-2 on the road (losing both the games they had on the road to playoff teams one a blowout to the hawks which I can't fault you for seeing as the saints got us on the road the other a road loss to the saints.)

Advantage panthers...

Also it's laughable that you don't understand what a difference 22 sacks make especially on a per snap basis.

Oh and one last thing the panther defense gives up just 12 ppg at home... Holding even the mighty saints offense (which is better than the 49ers even healthy) to 13 points... and your rival Seahawks to 12...

You won't score more than 10 Sunday... Come back and take your poo when I'm proven right Colin one read Kaepernick is in for the black and blue tour of pain.

49ers are a very strong road team.  Already 1-0 in the playoffs this year, and Harbaugh's 49ers are undefeated on the road in the playoffs , stemming over three seasons.  You may be good at home, but I dont know that it'll necessarily be an actual advantage; 49ers tend to play very well on the road unless youre in Seattle.   They should have been 7-1 on the road if not for a bad call on a fumble that would have ended the game in the 49ers favor @ Nawlins

As far as last game goes, it was 10-9.   Both teams struggled on offense.  Carolina had one sustained drive of 80 yards resulting in that touchdown then scored one final time because they got the ball in 49er territory.   The rest of the game was a dogfight, just like Sundays game will be.  49ers have a stout D that just held All Pro Rodgers to 177 yards, and they havent allowed a single 100 yard rusher all year.

Now the 49ers have returned All Pro Davis who didnt play last game, Crabtree who is making all the difference in the world.  The inclusion of these two guys has to mean something; whether its keeping your D from double covering  Boldin all day, or just getting Davis and Crabtree involved so they can make a spectacular play to put them over the top.   At any rate, this is not the same 49ers you met in November, and now they have all this confidence stemming from last week's victory.

This is full of problems.....

1) You're 1-0 in the playoffs already because you didn't earn a bye.  We did....

2)  why would us being 7-1, playing in front of our fans, not traveling to the opposite coast to play a 10am game (your time) NOT be an advantage?

3) Thank you for your "shoulda been" example.  We have several of those from this season, too.

4) YOu gave up 109 rushing yards to us last game.  We have four players who run the ball.  Saying you didn't give up 100 to one rusher is meaningless.  I don't think we've had one RB go for 100 yards this year, but we can run the ball

5) Davis did play last game.  We knocked him the fug out.

6) Crabtree won't make a difference when Kap doesn't have time to throw the ball.  NEWSFLASH: 91 passing yards wasn't because he didn't have a receiver out there.

Get your poo together and come back when you can make some points that make sense.
