i don't buy into stats, W-L that's all that matters. Game day all that will matter is scoring and turnovers. If we play the stat game,  our offense is 3 pts better (+1 over your 2 pt lead in D) and +1 better in turnovers than your offense. Which, OF COURSE, if we do the math means we are gonna win. Right? I mean ... stats, they're the godsend.

 

W-L is all that matters, except for the fact you already lost to us this season. that doesnt matter at all, right

was back last time. so i guess you're wrong about "ever" and will be wrong about your guarantee. what is it with some people that think that it's a big deal to come back to a site to gloat or eat crow? i do it all the time...thankfully not much with my team. did it on ravens page after super bowl....not a big deal. but you know what is a big deal? being able to come back to GLOAT. now that is fantastic. I would have done it at the seahags site, but got banned last year for lamenting their loss to ATL.

CONGRATS Panthers. You travelled, you dominated our offensive line, and scored enough to win. THAT is what a solid team does when it's expected to lose and wants to make a statement. Congrats. Now ... root for us to beat the Saints. And for the seachicken fans, enjoy our loss. We will see you soon enough. If everytime we play a stout defnese, we lose, we have no business making the playoffs.

 

Anyway, no excuses. That was a solid win.

Of course, last year has nothing to do with this year and games are played for a reason, so come Sunday we will see whose D is most dominant and whose O moves the chains and scores. With the upcoming loss I'd say you are still a good team.

Hmmmmm... i didn't realize that my W-L reference would be to taken to mean season or head-to-head records. Hope this helps with the stats/logic games: W-L as in Win or Lose on game day is all that matters. More better?

Said it elsewhere, but my sentiment is that W-L on game day is all that matters. All our back-and-forth, stats, claims won't matter. Coaching (gameplan) and players (execution of gameplan and response to a play breaking down) will decide the game on Sunday. And at this point I really don't see a major difference in talent between my team and yours. So, yah your earlier win doesn't matter to this upcoming game. Not.One.Bit.
