I think there were a couple people saying we were going to lose in the packers vs 9ers gameday thread.

 

but most people that were being downers were saying they'd rather have played the packers than the 9ers, because even tho we beat the 9ers, it was with them having a buncha dudes injured, whereas gb has no defense at fuging all.  this is the camp I was in last night... but I thought then and still think now we're gonna win next weekend, just will be a tougher matchup

I think we are all happy and proud of our team for what they've done this season. I don't think anyone realistically thought this team would be better than 10-6.

We knew we had a chance at the division but to comeback and win it was incredible.

After starting 1-3 not a soul believed we would go 11-1.

Few believed we would go in San Fran and dominate them physically in their house.

Now we have our concerns about an upcoming matchup. It's not because we don't believe in our team, I think it has more to do with how much we have overachieved this season. Are we a playoff contender or a Super Bowl contender?

We don't fear the 49ers, but it would be foolish to not recognize they've played in back to back NFC championship games and the Super Bowl last year.

Like it or not they are THE team and we are the team trying to knock them off. We are on the rise and they should fear us. Their arrogance might be their downfall.

Don't fault fellow Panther fans for having their doubts. It's been a long time.
