3 Reasons Im glad its the 49ers

I was talking about this the other day with my buddies.  It is time for Ginn to prove his worth.  For all of his dropped deep balls, he should make up for it one game at a time in the playoffs.  Take some heat off the offense, and get the crowd hyped up.  We brought him here for ST but he has proven a viable WR.  That still doesn't excuse him from lackluster ST play.

All the botched drops he had when he was with us, We Know Ginn. You better hope Lafell steps up

This one will be a toss up and hard fought for sure.

Each team should definitely respect the other.  I was personally hoping the Eagles would win so the SF could beat the Hawks and then we could see them in Charlotte for the Championship.

Good things for the Panthers:

1. Confidence that they can beat the Niners since it has already happened.

2. Resting up injuries with a bye week

3. Niners coming to the east coast for early game.

Good things for the Niners

1. Seen the Panthers before and can learn from their mistakes.

2. Crabtree in the lineup

3. Kap winning in GB should help his confidence.

This game showed me that they aren't that scary. It will be a low scoring game again I think. But I see us being able to win again. Our defense man handled them last game. Hopefully they bring the same intensity at home. Have a good week everyone. Keep pounding!

Toss-up for all reasons already stated.  Both defenses are great, edge Panthers.  Similar offenses, edge 49ers.  Coming to our house but the 49ers are a good road team.

Look for our D to frustrate the 49ers and take Kap out of his game.  Our O will start slow and come back from an early deficit.  A turnover or big special teams play will decide the game in our favor.  The breaks will continue to go our way.  We are destined to beat Seattle ... in Seattle.

You could be right.  That is what I predicted prior to the last game, but you have to acknowledge that their best receiver is playing this time.  It wont be as easy as some of you would like to believe.  I love the Panthers but their is no way I would put down big money on a win here.  It might be a game decided by a bounce, a fg, a missed fg.  It is going to be close and I think will end up being the best game of the weekend.  Hope we prevail.   Think we can, but if not I am still proud of this group of players.  They will certainly give their all.

I completely agree, win or lose, I'm really proud of this group of players.  With that said, people also downplay the fact that the game was on the road in San Fran, and they played very well at home.  Yes they were without some players, but another huge thing to remember was the fact that they came off a bye week into our game, and were on a 5 game win streak, so even without key contributors, there was no reason for them to only drop 90 yards passing on us.

1 last thing, talking about putting money on the game, I had completely forgot about the 9ers fan who dropped thousands of dollars on the first game between the 2 teams...I wonder if he'd be stupid enough to make the same mistake twice.

I hope he is.
