49ers/Packers Game thread

Scared isn't the right word. Very concerned.

i am not concerned. not with the way the 49ers played against that crappy Packer defense. our defense is worlds better. and the 9ers have been giving up alot more points lately than they were when we played them. will it be a physical, defensive game? most likely, but i see the Panthers pulling away in the 4th next weekend

It seems like a 50/50 game to me. Evenly matched and could go either way. I think we would have murdered GB.

hmm... i'd put the odds at more like 60/40 Carolina. homefield advantage, good matchup, familiarity, and San Fran coming off a physical game while we've been resting... it will be tough; the niners wont just lay down. but i like our chances. i liked our chances against any of the NFC crop this year. NO and GB scared me the most. GB is out and NO barely scraped it out against philly. now they have Seattle. tough for them. not that im complaining. i wont shed a tear for the Mole when Seattle's D buries him again.

We've been resting, but we might come out flat and rusty. The first time we played we managed to concuss two of their starters, one of which was their TE. Their backup TE missed a bomb from Kaep that would have gone for a TD, well maybe. My point is that they'll have a healthier team this time around, and that could be the difference. I think GB was using a spy on Kaep tonight, and we might do the same with TD. I'd feel better about this game if I knew what Cam would do passing wise. If he's hot then we should win.

As a Saints fan I can tell you I will be pulling for the Panthers for the first time ever. After Saints beat Seahawks they would be a favorite over Carolina but an underdog against the niners. That says it all.

Saints most definitely would not be favored in Charlotte. Our offense played the worst game of the year Dec 22. We will stomp the Saints if we faced them again. I will laugh at you guys in Seattle though. To even think you have a chance LOL

agreed. this team still goes as Cam goes generally. BUT... the way Cam and Co. have been talking this week, they arent taking it lightly and losing sight. i have confidence that they'll be ready. might take the first quarter to warm up, but i am also confident our D can hold up long enough for the O to get hot.

if they were using a spy, they need to release him

i dont think we need a spy cause our guys fast enough to chance kaep down

the difference between us and GB is QB's dont have the time Kaep had today. it was just terrible. terrible pass rush,  terrible containment. they just dont know how to defend him

I'm not sure if GB was down to their 2nd or 3rd string LBs but they were terrible.

Containing Kaep is the key. The more he throws the better.
