Ya I'm surprised they haven't given it to Gore more. Maybe Kaep is throwing to keep his skinny arms warm, since he neglected to put on a long sleeved base layer. Hope those lips get stuck to his bicep when he goes for a Kaepernicking.

I thought they said before the game that because it is the playoffs the league managed the field leading up to the game.

I think the 'covering the field' thing was more about keeping it warm and at least somewhat soft, than it was about grass. a losing battle either way.
