A coach can practice all game with their qb to not throw those horrible picks or overthrow but there is a reason why quarterback pressure and blitzes changes how qb's act in a game. It's ridiculous to believe that a coach is responsible for how dalton will respond to coverages and pressures.

In all honesty, Dalton is Luck with a few more bad throws and minus the smash-mouth sort of football the Colts enjoys playing. If it wasn't for that punch you in the mouth, street football the Colts team love to play, that wears out their opponents, Luck would home.

If the Bengals got Bridgewater, you might as well pencil them in as a Superbowl team lol

In all honesty, I sometimes feel teams that have QBs like Cam tend to create a sort of psychology where a Receivers know their job but when they have a QB that can do it all, it sometimes cause them to either be lazy or complacent. I saw that with the Eagles and now the Panthers. When more "traditional QBs" are under center, these Receivers and RBs know they are the "workers" and bust their asses or be replaced.

Even worst is when fans let everyone off the hook but the QB on their team, like some enjoy doing with the Panthers.

Good points.

I think many times, Panther receivers watch Cam or prepare to block for him, when he's actually looking downfield for receivers.

Nonetheless, the paucity of playmaking Panther receivers, is not on them watching Cam. It's just the inexplicable lack of athleticism, strength, savvy, anticipation, and hand eye coordination they apparently lack for starting or rotation NFL receivers.

i think this is a very fair assessment.sort of like the early Michael Jordan years. they had guys that would stand around and just watch MJ. then they started getting superb role players and we know the rest.

i think that we have fans here and all other fan bases do as well who are not good at being objective with their team. i mean fan is prefix for fanatic for crying out loud. lol

Cam like all other qb's makes great throws and bad throws. are there areas he can improve in? totally.

its a ying and yang. some qb's make their wr's better and vice versa.

i just don't get the constant ongoing around here on here blind cam homerism or blind cam hate.

In all honesty, I don't have a problem with saying YEP that was a bad throw from Cam because I do with all the QBs. But when it appears as if some are intentionally trying to turn every miscue throw into we need spend more time fixing Cam and doing so will solve issues of this team, I see through that. I watch enough games to know that QBs will misfire a few balls but it's the Receivers, RBs and O-line job to step up and help them.

No but it is time to go in another direction

From Dalton too

At some point, coaches just hit a ceiling with an organization. Marvin hit his in Cincy

So you're saying Dalton isn't chosen? Or is it just the dismissive attitude of a Panthers fans to say NEXT!!! when a player isn't instantly producing like they do on Fantasy Football. It's no wonder some of you sit and look at the "ones who got away" have success on other teams.

Dalton is a good QB. Whatever his issues are may not be physical.
