Muller will bench him the second we lose again. He could win 10 straight at this point, and he'd still get benched for a loss. Dude is good enough to stay in net for damn near 2 straight months and win more times than not. That's IDEAL for a playoff team. We just needed to get there to let Doby shine. Instead, Cam gets healthy and gets as many starts as he has gotten...and for what? To be relegated to playing for nothing more than draft position. 10 points out of the wildcard (I think).

Biggest observation was the lack of effort from Eric Staal.  Very disappointing.

I've noticed that a lot by Eric. He looks like he's not even trying. He's not giving enough effort. Just skating around. This is one of the reasons why I believe it's a bad idea for any sports team to have 2 brothers on the same team. They have the upper hand in negotiations because they know you want to keep them together. Eric isn't putting forth the effort. He knew JR was going to keep him and his brother together. Hopefully with Francis as the GM, he puts an end to it. We need to be building a complete team. Not reuniting families.

Karmanos puts Ward's injury as the reason why we aren't in the playoffs then has the nerve to say they need the fan support next season. If he thinks Ward is still in our plans for the future, there will be no fan support.
